Pam ....near the top of the page , where it says messages , when you receive a PM there ought to be a white envelope to signal an unopened message .

It might still be a couple of hours or more yet before the baby arrives , so please don't force yourselves to stay awake on my account ( unless you really want to ...lol x )

Oh OK Amanda. Thanks for that. I'll keep an eye out. I think that's only the second PM I've had since I started coming in here. The other one was from Sue but she sent a note here saying she'd PM'd me.

Pam, I used to get the white envelope next to the messages, but that stopped happening last year and now I never know that I have a message. I have a notification sent to my email address,so that is the only way I know there is one

Hello Linda ......I certainly feel hapier to know that things are progressing now . It is most odd being on the "outside" instead of being in the thick of things , actually I have to admit that it's a darn sight more relaxing this way....lol

Just popping in to see if there is any news. We are going out to a dinner function thingy tonight,so I hope she gets a move on
Time for me to start thinking what i am going to wear.

Bella has arrived : )) She got here at 4.45 pm . Don't know any details yet as she had only just got here when my son phoned sounding very relieved .

He had phoned an hour before and ended up sobbing ( which he never does ) as he was distressed at what Charlotte was going though ...bless him .

Anyway , I'll be back on later as I', hoping to get a call saying I can go and have a viewing : )))

That's wonderful news, Hope Charlotte and Bella are doing well, and that dad has overcome his distress for his loved ones, wouldn't be surprised that he sheds a tear after baby's safe arrival.. Sounds like a very caring bloke:)
Congratulations to them all, and to Nan Amanda:) for being patient.. bet that was hard as you were involved in your other g,children's births.

I've just got back from the hospital , Charlotte is staying in overnight .

Bella is beautiful , 7 lb 12 oz , head of thick glossy black hair ( she looks remarkably like Luke did as a newborn ) except she has inherited her Mums cleft chin ( shades of desperate Dan ! ...lol ) .

Sandie ....it was SO hard being patient and not there ...lol....but Charlotte's Mum has had the experience of a lifetime seeing her first Grandchild emerge and that makes me very happy indeed : ))

Oh well done Amanda and of course well done Charlotte.

She sounds like a little beauty..... Charlotte must be needing a rest after so long.
