Thank you Persey : )) Yes , Charlotte looks radiant and shattered at the same time ( a special look that only comes from doing that particular task ).

Sandie .... I feel on top of the world at the moment , it will all catch up with me later no doubt .

Good morning/evening everyone. What wonderful news to wake up to - a big cuddle for Bella from Aunty Sue and a big hug for Nana Amanda. I'm so happy for you all.

Isn't that wonderful news. Well done Amanda. Congratulations to Charlotte, Luke and Bella from the Oz connection. It's a vey special time for all.

I think there's nothing quite so educational than for a husband/dad to see the birth of their child. Changes the whole dynamic of a relationship sometimes. For the better too. You can talk all you like about the process but there's no way of fully appreciating it until you've been there.

Good for Luke showing what a caring person he is

My baby, a rainbow lorikeet, is sitting on my shoulder and running down to my hand to 'help' with the typing of this. Such a cutie.

SueMaid Report 15 Oct 2010 21:41

Nowhere near as exciting as yours Amanda:-)) It went very well and I really had no reason to be nervous. People were very kind and complimented me on the photo which was hung up with 5 others. The photographer told me it was his favourite which was very nice of him.

Hi Pam:-))

I've had time to read through and have just got to the good part. Congratulations, grandma - another little one to spoil!

AND I'm here right on 10pm as promised.! No-one is more surprised at that than I am! Posts all read up to date, too.

Amanda - please pass on our best wishes to the new parents - and don't forget, we want to see photos!

It seems I might have started an avalanche of 'friend requests' on FB this week. Five in one day for me and I couldn't see that they were already friends with each other - but I still have trouble working out what each of us can see of the other's wall, etc.

I still prefer GR chat board, but it's great to see the photos that our friends put there. Anyone else want to be my friend?

Good Morning Sue, and Pam,

Glad that your evening went well Sue, I hope you enjoyed the occassion. Are you feeling ok now?

Hi Pam, I checked out the website you sent - stunning scenery, the falls look wonderful, and I should think a trip on the scenic railway, and Skyrail would be quite an experience never forgotten. I've been to most Australian cities but never to Cairns, Brisbane being the nearest.
Good that your baby lorikeet is so tame.

Good Morning Berona,

Hope you are well today.
I want to be your friend lol - but I'm not on Facebook - and not yet into photo's, so just imagine what I look like, on second thoughts, don't - it might be too frightening lol.

Good morning to you Berona , I'll be putting up photos of the beautiful Bella as soon as I can ( silly me forgot to take my camera to the hospital ....lol ) .

My son has just left , looking shell shocked and as if he been to another planet .....I hope he can sleep ok , he hated leaving them in the hospital .

Yes, Sue - I think it was that which stopped me from going back to sleep to-day. I wanted to know if there was any news.

How did your day/evening go? And did you wear the right outfit after all?

BTW - your photos are lovely. Your daughter and fiance look very happy and the little ones are adorable. They look like 'imps'. My little 'almost 4' is like that but master 7 is an 'old man'. Talks a lot of logic (HIS logic) and always wants to get out the cleaner and vacuum my house through. He also is very tidy and strives to do anything he sees others do. Makes us very proud at times (and is also a pain in the butt at other times!).

SueMaid Report 15 Oct 2010 22:25

Amanda - I can remember when my 1st grandchild was born. He is my son's boy and we were at the hospital when he came into the world. My son held it together until we got back to his home and the minute we got in the door he said in a shaky voice "oh mum" and burst into tears. He was so overwhelmed.

Thank you Berona - I'm very proud of my grandchildren. My son's boy - Aiden - is an old man at 6. Very grownup. I love your photos too. Tec - our Berona is a lovely lady.

The evening went well and I think I wore the right outfit:-)) I shall put up a photo before long.

Hello all. Looks like most of the gang is here. Have we broken out the champers yet?? Did I miss it ????? That'd be right. Trust me to leave just as all the fun was on.

How is everyone today/tonight? I'm feeling much better this morning. Painkillers worked quite well. Still quite sore but nowhere like the pain I had yesterday and I managed a fairly good nights sleep.

Well done Sue. You deserve all the accolades you get. You work so hard and unstintingly for others that you deserve recognition.

Yes, Tec. It is a beautiful area to live in. Lots of fresh air with all those trees around and here where my house is there's no next door neighbours that you can see except at night when they put a light on. You can see the light through the trees.

Last night when I got home there was a power blackout. But fortunately I know where all the torches, candles etc are so there was no problem there. Power came back on after a couple of hours. Paradise does have to have it's occasional downsides, I guess.

Does anyone use Google Earth ? You can see where I am there.
