I expect everyone in the Southern Hemisphere has gone to bed now, but as I keep missing you Persey, Colin, and Carole, I've just popped in to say Hi to you all.

Persey you need to tame that mouse, sounds like he/she likes to go walkabout when you're missing - maybe he/she corresponds with other mice on different computers - tricky things these mice.

Colin, I see your mouse also plays tricks on you.
I think I must be the only one left on the thread not on FB, but I don't think I have the mental capacity to cope with anything else. I also have a 40 year old photo that depicts me as I would prefer to look, but alas time has taken its toll, and like your mirror, mine is nearer the real me - worn out lol.

Carole, I did have my fingers crossed for you re the job, and sorry it didn't work out, but maybe something even better will turn up. Sometimes things work out that way I've found.
Cwtches to you, and better luck next time.
BTW your Spring garden sounds lovely.

Hope to catch up with you Berona, Pam, Sue, this evening (my time)
just wanted to say Hi to those I keep missing Down Under.

Goodnight to you,
Tec.

I am sorry that you didn't get the job Carole, but I am sure that something even better, paying loads more money will be just around the corner, I am the eternal optimist.

It is a good job that you are not on Face Book Tec, as I am extremely fussy who I accept as a friend and who I open my photo's to . You would stand no chance.

Runs and hides......

Only joking, Tec knows that he would be the first person I would welcome with open arms.

I did Meals on Wheels this morning, then OH met me in town and we had a large lunch. I even had a glass of wine. This turned out to be a bad idea as all I want to do now is have a sleep, I think old age is taking it's toll.

It is lovely to see you Perse, I do miss you you know.

The Banana bread of Sue's sounds lovely,so someone send me the recipe please.

Hello everyone - it's lovely and sunny here at the moment.

Tec - Linda wasn't joking. She sent me a message earlier about how she's glad you're not on FB.

Sue, you are a little stirrer

Edit, no a big stirrer lol

actually I did send you a pm earlier, did you read it?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Oct 2010 21:14

Yes I did read it Linda:-)) And I've sent you an email with the banana bread recipe.

I got that Sue, I just glanced over at the fruit dish, but OH has eaten all the bananas.I will have to get some more and hide then so they can ripen

I think it's decadent to drink at lunchtime.

Well as I'm not a member of Face Book, or any other exclusive club for that matter, you are spared having to decide whether to accept me as your friend Linda. I would however keep asking just to agravate lol.
Joke accepted - I have broad shoulders :))

Very wet with storm force winds here this evening.

I think it is decadent to drink at lunch time as well Tec, it doesn't stop me though

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2010 21:30

Good Morning Sue,
Good Evening Linda,

Glad the sun is out for you today Sue - incidently, I know all about that LindaInHerriotCountry, nothing you could say would surprise me :))

Linda, I've been looking for decadence around here for years - there just isn't any, but I'll keep looking before I get too old lol.

Tec.

SueMaid Report 22 Oct 2010 21:32

Decadent? I think it's depraved. I can't imagine drinking in the middle of the day - tut tut.

I've answered your message Linda - I do wish you wouldn't talk about Tec like that.

Where are the others when I need some back up?

You are only jealous Sue because you didn't go out for lunch

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2010 21:38

I also think it's depaved Sue - a real lady never touches it 'till the sun's over the yardarm.
I reckon Linda's on a slippery slope - shame really. I mean whoever heard of whisky on their cornflakes for breakfast - ugh.

Tec.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Oct 2010 21:43

You don't know that Linda.

Whenever we have a big committee meeting it's usually in a sports club in town. We have lunch afterwards and I always have a glass of white wine and invariably get 'the look' from the other committee members as they sip on their orange juice or water.

Oops - just read your post Tec. Now you'll be thinking I'm depraved too. I can tell you that after some of our meetings I am badly in need of a glass of wine.

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2010 21:47

Oh Sue, don't tell me you have moments of depravity too. What have I got myself into here - me who has led a blameless and sheltered existance.

Tec.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Oct 2010 21:48

There Tec, see Sue is just as bad as me

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Oct 2010 21:50

A blameless and sheltered existence? Keep telling yourself that Tec and you will start to believe it

Berona

Berona Report 22 Oct 2010 21:51

Good evening/morning all.
Tec - are you trying to tell us you haven't tried whisky on your cornflakes? Come on!

I'm early to-day, aren't I? I'm going out to have lunch with my youngest grandchild. He is 4 to-day. At least, I don't think it's a party!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2010 21:53

I could have been a monk - sometimes I wish I were lol

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Oct 2010 21:53

Oh I hope you haven't led a blameless and sheltered existence Tec - how boring:-))

The glass of wine at lunch is only once a month Tec - hardly in Linda's league. The stories I've heard don't bear repeating.
