My cousin is back in hospital now, going downhill fast and it doesn't look good.

Sue I would never infer that you are old enough to be my granny. As my granny was born in 1880, that would make you 130 years old. I know that you're not quite that old, I've seen the photo lol.

Councils are looking for any excuse to shut anything at the moment. They have already shut our local TIC, in mid season, with no notice. They are closing public toilets, and closing our village school.
The villagers have raised enough funds to engage a firm of lawers in London to fight them in Court over the school closure.

Hello everybody. Agreed Sue. Blue sky and sunshine here but to-day's promise is 27. I don't think that will be right either! "Possible showers" (they cover themselves don't they?).

Pam - snakes only appear in the suburbs if the suburb is a young one - still not far from undeveloped land. Although I must admit that when I saw a neighbour's furniture arrive from his native country - the packaging was so flimsy, that the crates fell apart as they were lowered onto his driveway. I wondered what kind of vermin they had brought with them, or collected down in the 'hold' of the ship.

Sorry that your cousin is so ill Linda, that's awful.

Linda I'm so sorry to hear this and now that you have reminded me I now remember you saying about this, ( my memory lately is horrendous ) it's as though it has been switched off.
This is so sad Linda and she is so young, I hope they are making thing's for her as comfortable as possible hun.

Thank's hun for your wishes, and yes we are close even though we have had are misunderstanding's at time's. She was like a second mother to me when I was a young girl and her and my Uncle ( her husband ) were alway's there for me when I needed them.
