Don't worry Tec I will tell them exactly how it is and if they say it is just arthritis and I have to live with it I'm going to ask for the injection you can get, otherwise it is going to be a hard slog doing my job, of which I can't do anything about.

Just popping in to say hello.
Good morning Tec and Diane.
Anyone know where Alan has gone? The Ethics thread has resurfaced but it was not Alan reposting, it was another of his ethical friends.
Sue is off to a doll show. Doll show, garden show, garden supplies. Where does she find the time?
It is a bit grey here at the moment but not a lot of rain is predicted. Apparently our weather bureau classifies rain, showers and drizzle by the type of cloud they fall from. You can get very wet from a shower, but I find long periods of rain very depressing. We have had a few of those periods this spring.
Our main water storage is about 60 percent full, but I am sure that they let water out regularly so it doesn't rise too much. And to keep the water in the river downstream healthy. When I was in Hillston in August one of the locals told me that their water storage- hundreds of kilometres upstream- was at 17%, up from 6% last year. Now that is good news.
If I haven't said so already, my brother in law now has a hip joint again. He had a hip replacement in July, but a few weeks later they had to take the artificial hip out again because it was infected. It took a while to clear up the infection but he had the artificial hip put back in a couple of weeks ago. At least he will be able to get around on two legs again with no crutches. I think my sister is very relieved. Her other issues are not going away any time soon.
Other things to do on a Sunday morning so will head off to face the day.

Diane I've sent another pm - I will get it right eventually honestly.

Hi Colin,
I think Allan is about somewhere on other threads.
Our water comes from the reservoir on to of the mountain, certainly no shortage of water here.

Thank's Amanda and Colin, I will ring the hospital on Monday and will let you know what they say, the sooner the better as I am sick of taking anti-inflammatory tab's and pain killer's, I don't like to take to many anti-inflammatory's as they can affect the kidney function.

Hello Diane, thank you for you kind comments on the photos. One of my FB friends has posted some lovely photos. She is an excellent photographer and has published books of her photos. I know how to comment on these but apparently you can say you like the photo or comment. It comes up as 2 people like this but I don't know how to do it.
Amanda, congratulations again on being an auntie, or is it a grannie? About your pain, I don't like taking anti-inflams as they also put your blood pressure up. I used to take a drug for another condition entirely but had to stop it due to decreased kidney function. I still have about 70 percent, but with high blood pressure and diabetes type 2, I am glad that there is an alternative, which can damage the liver. So far fingers crossed there is not a problem.
Hello Tec, we don't have too many water problems in Sydney itself, especially since the new and very expensive desalination plant opened. But other cities and inland towns were in trouble. There is a lot of debate about water usage in the river system that drains much of inland south-east Australia. I think the ones shouting loudest are vested interests, especially irrigation farmers. It doesn't help that in rural NSW, QLD and Victoria the rusted on political party is the minor party in the Conservative coalition. Who are in Opposition in all three states and federally.
