There you are Linda - you are cheeky. I'm not yet eccentric, just odd.

I think some peoples attitude to those in wheelchairs is appaling.
I was in hospital having had a heart attack. A porter took me from the ward to X-Ray. On the way back another porter came along and asked my porter was he coming for tea break. When my porter explained he had to take me back, the other one said "Oh leave him there, he doesn't know where he is anyway - take him after"
At the time I was too ill to respond, and sat in the corridor for half an hour.

I've never seen the Mona Lisa but I did go to the Tate Gallery once to see an exhibition of William Blake paintings .....now they really are small !

Persey ..... I'll go along with what ever the dentist suggests but your probably not wrong and it ought to come out but I'm a self confessed coward : )

I am off to the big bed, I need my beauty sleep before tomorrow, although I think if I slept for a hundred years it wouldn't have much effect lol.

Good night up top and have an outspoken day down under

Linda - it did look much smaller to me than I expected, the first time - but this lady had been there only two years previously! Did she think the painting had shrunk?

Good night. Keep warm. I'll lend you my bedsocks. I couldn't get to sleep for a long while, night before last, because my feet were cold - so I wore bedsocks last night and had a good night's sleep. (in November??? - swimming season started a month ago!).

Still wet outside, but no rain. Must have come down overnight. Sun keeps poking through, but doesn't stay long.

Good night up toppers. I need to do some h***ew**k.

~~~~~~~Persey. Looks like I've come in again when there's no one here.
Been busy the last few days with work and having birds to check up on and feed each morning (usually before I've had my breakfast) it's a full on day. Not long got home.
Still don't have my washing machine back from the repairers. I'm beginning to wonder if they're having trouble getting the parts. It's a Fysher and Paykel so maybe they've had to send to EnZed for them, eh? So, after work I had to go to the laundromat otherwise I won't have any clothes to wear after tomorrow. Still, it gave me a chance to read my book for 3/4 of an hour and unwind from work, which was good.
Came home and hung it up. I use the balcony upstairs to hang the washing because it gets a good breeze through there. I don't really use the upstairs for anything other than a spare bedroom if someone comes to stay, which is rare, and for storage. So, if there's clothes hanging out there, there's no one to offend.
Sorry I missed you all but I'll see how I feel and maybe come back later. About to get my dinner and in 1/2 hour Spooks is on TV so I'm going to watch it and see what it's about. I'd like to know especially when there's someone here who finds it more interesting that this Aussie connection.
Bye for now.
Pam.
Good Morning/Evening,
Hi Amanda,
Hi Sue,
I have always found it terribly difficult just to sit in my garden, and I have tried. Unless I shut my eyes, you can guarantee before long I will spot something that I just have to attend to immediately. It's a real pain.
Amanda2003
Amanda2003 Report 6 Nov 2010 21:54
Good evening Tec...... I am just the same ....lol.....I try really hard to just sit and enjoy but I can't do it !
By the way , yesterday as I was looking out of my front room window I noticed a whole clump of Primroses nestled under some larger plant , so your arn't the only ones that are confused .
Have you had rain again today in Wales ?
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 6 Nov 2010 22:01
Amanda it's a real shame that we seem incapable of just sitting and enjoying the results of our labour, but we can't help it.
I'm glad my primroses are not the only confused ones.
Another freaky thing has happend. I have some agapanthus in a large pot, only one huge flower this year, but today I noticed a new bud forming. Hard enough to get flowering in summer, but in November?
