It's good to learn how to remove things from a photo. OH managed to remove telegraph poles and a car from a photo of an old inn that was once run by an ancestor. He then changed it to sepia tone and it looks wonderful.

The other thing that OH has done is changed a photo to look like a sketch which he did with a program called Paintshop Pro. That also looks very affective.

They could do with him at the movie studios - watched a Robin Hood TV show once and Robin leapt over a stone wall revealing the name Commandos on the bottom of his footwear.

good morning/evening all.
Tec - that's great news - another ten pounds towards our cruiser! Hope you invest it wisely.

Sue - sounds like you are having the same weather as I am - for a change!
Right now, a beautiful clear blue sky and lots of sun - and humidity! Could yet be like yesterday.

Perse - did you know that only recently, we found that many of us are on FB and we all sent each other 'friend' requests. A little confusing for a while, but now we can see each other's photos. Would you like to join us?

Hello Amanda and Berona.

Amanda - we babysat last night too. Thankfully it wasn't a late night.

What do you mean "not another lunch Sue", Linda:-)) The lunch is in a very nice function centre and their food is good so it should be a nice afternoon - and I get a certificate for 15 years service:-))

Good Evening Amanda,
Good Morning Sue, Berona,

I think it's so clever what can now be done with photo's - being a simpleton - or basically just thick - I don't suppose I will ever learn to do it.

I am well Sue thank you - hope you enjoy lunch - 20 years is a long time - well done.

Berona I have invested wisely :))

I'm not on FB Persey - nobody has a clue what I look like - which is a blessing lol.

Tec.

Do we need to choose your wardrobe for you Sue?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 13 Nov 2010 22:07

Not today Linda - I've already decided what to wear:-)) The problem with hot weather is that most places are air conditioned and so you go from a cool car into heat and then back into the cool again. Sometimes the air con. is too cool and you can feel a bit goose bumpy before you go out in the heat again. It can't be healthy.

I don't like that either Sue, after sitting in an airconditioned area for a long time and being every so still and quiet - my feet start to go cold and then feel almost numb and when I go to get up it's like I have just turned 94 the way I get out of my chair. Then you go out into the hot sunshine thaw out and get sunburnt.

Good evening/morning all

sorry to join you all so late but I'v been watching X Factor and at the moment there is a programme on about Take That which I'm half watching.

Sue another dinner to go to, you must be running out of thing's to wear so does this mean a shopping spree and if so what will your colour choice be.

Amanda I was wondering were you were last night, did you have fun with your granddaughter Emily hun.

Berona your weather seem's to be all over the place, a bit like our's. We have had a nice sunny day today after all the wind and rain.

Linda I'm glad your photoshop cause went well and hope you can put what you learnt to good use.

Hi Perse what are you up to today, anything exciting ?

Evening Tec how has your weather been today, well done with the lotto win, I haven't checked mine yet but will do so later.

Well I think I had better get outside it is so nice out there - was out there earlier - sun is shining so will be sticking to the shadier areas. The tuis are around and the totara has been shedding its little berries, and one side of my car is decidely sticky so will go and give the car a wash as well.

Hi and bi Diane

See you all later Persey

If you do join FB Tec - please make sure that you are wearing the night cap I knitted for you, in one of your photos. It would be nice to see what it looks like on you.

Colin joined it - once we told him that he doesn't have to use his correct name - AND he has since added a photo! Now, we know what he and Denise look like - it seems to come a little easier to talk to them. Probably only my imagination, I know, but until I know for sure what someone looks like, I seem to imagine them in lots of different ways, but nothing definite.

Good Evening Diane,

We had a nice sunny day too, but it's raining now.
I do wish my three numbers on the lottery would turn into six, then we could all have some fun.

Reading about all this air-conditioning has given me a little insight into your lives . We only have that sort of controlled temperature to deal with whilst scrolling about in our supermarkets .....I hate getting the Goose bumps ( always in the meat isle ) in the middle of the Summer.
Your lives are somewhat more complicated than ours methinks ....lol

Hello Diane , yes Emily was fun , she always is .Having said that she did scream blue murder the first time I tried to put her to bed ( yes , Nanny crumbled and got her up again ....lol ) , she is starting to get it together talking wise , as soon as she arrived and positioned herself in the kitchen
and started saying " Gak " and pointing at the box OH always puts cake in , he immediatly began baking a cake ( as the box was empty ) , she has him that well trained already ! .....lol

Goodnight Linda,
sleep well.

Berona, Should I ever appear on FB I will of course be sure to wear the nightcap you knitted me - I wear it all the time, even when I'm out, except in the rain in case it shrinks.

Amanda - Aimee drops her bottom lip, covers her face with her hands then peeks through her fingers to see if the act is having the right affect. Doesn't work with me but it gets grandad everytime:-))

Diane - I'm good at recycling my clothes for different functions. There's a lot this year because it's our anniversary - thankfully it's not like this all the time.
