I love that story Amanda - it's made me laugh so much my OH is looking at me very strangely:-))

How's this for danger. OH is going to a computer fair this morning and as I don't enjoy doing that he's asked me to go to the local garden centre and pick up some lettuce seedlings for the vegie garden. Oh dear - a garden centre on a day like today:-)))

Sue ..... I'm pleased the story made you laugh ..... I can still see that poor boys tortured face now .....lol

Perhaps your OH is sending you to the garden centre with just enough money to get lettuce seedlings and not a penny more ? That would be too cruel ....lol

I wonder how Linda is getting on , do you think she has put baby Eve down yet : ))

Your goat story made me laugh too Amanda - goats have got very hard heads, and sometimes horns - ouch.
There are wild goats in Snowdonia, they come down to the roadside in bad winter weather - beautiful things with white shaggy coats and enormous horns.

Sue what a temptation that garden centre must be - I'm sure you'll find something that simply can't be left there lol.

Hi again~~

Been watching I'm a celebrity and X factor before..some would say I'm a saddo lol.....whatever..as dau would say !

I'm sorry Amanda , I didn't acknowledge you earlier hun :)
Dau and I did 2 car boot sales last yr, very well organised. She made £80 the first one and £50 on the 2nd, our stuff and hers.
We were very fortunate with the weather, glorious sunshine in Sept both times.

i slipped out for a while and when I came back, I pressed the Refresh button and came to page 1382. However, when I tried to see if I had missed anything on the previous page, it wouldn't let me go there.
Has anyone else tried to go back a page and had this trouble?

Annabella had horns .....lol , she was the Mascot for the Army Cadets and used to look rather splendid in her embroidered " coat ? " , she used to go along on a lead at the front of them in parades . I used to catch the evil glint in her eye though , as she went past ! ....lol

. Sue , it isn't true tha a garden is ever so full that you can't find a place for one or three more plants . Take lots of pennies when you go ....lol

Tec:

It should have been the brandy but reckon it was the gin
Sitting at the bar and the state that I am in
There are pages of threads lying around the floor
Looks to me like an out and out war
Berated on one thread for complaining about no clock
Our thread changes it's first page and leaves me in shock
Visited the clinic and had to join the queue
Now in the Asylum at the bar with you.

Hi Sandie, Got rid of the dust yet? lol.

Berona I don't have any trouble going back a page, but I do find it a fiddle getting to the last post every time - very aggravating.

Berona , that happened to me the other day , I couldn't get back into the thread properly , so just added at the bottom of the page that I was morooned on and then gave up ....lol
Hopefully the " glitches " will sort themselves out soon , we can but hope .

Hello again Sandie , you did well at those boot sales . I've done the odd one in the past ( when the kiddies where kiddies ) but I ended up bringing more than I'd hoped to back home ...... lol

Nope! Tried again to click on 1831. It went through all the performances of changing pages and when it settled, was back on 1832 again. It just won't go for me!

10 out of 10 for the poem Persey .....lol

I'm starting to find this is all jumping about a bit , it wasn't doing it earlier , most odd .

Just tried to go back by clicking on More Pages and selected the full page ending with 1830. Once again, a lot of flashing up and down and a blank page, then settled - again on 1832!

Hi Persey,

Love the poem - brilliant.
Glad you've decided to join me at the bar in the Asylum.
I was trying to sort something out this evening searching through Census records, Parish records, BMDs, Got tied up in knots.
Suddenly I put the laptop down, put my head in my hands, and said out loud "Why the hell am I doing this"

OH looked up and retorted "I've often wondered about that"

Maybe we'll all end up in the Asylum together - mumbling mysteriously lol.

Berona

You have to go back to page 2 to find earlier ones... you can't click on 1381 or whatever that you might think was the last page we are now on page 1.

It turns itself inside out and as Tec says it looks like a naughty puppy has been playing with it.

Morning/evening/ lunch time here all

I'm going to go out of it - just realised I haven't made my bed yet, so will leave you. Perhaps GR are waiting for the quieter hours to do more testing/fixing.
Take care all. Have a warm and restful sleep, Brits and Aussies/Kiwis enjoy your day. I'll talk to you all later.
Sue - don't spend too much - but enjoy yourself. I'll envy you. I think my days of 'wandering around' are over. I need to take a chair with me!

I just made that up on the spot...
I had only read your post from earlier and thought I better get in before you all disappeared.
Have read them all now.
Yesterday on the thread titled I don't like it (I think that was the one) I listed all the changes and included the lack of a clock.
Three people took me to task one telling me that since the age of six one could tell the time and if a post was posted two hours ago that person could work out what time it was. Whoop de do - I tried to explain re being on the otherside of the world and when daylight savings kick in we all change at different times and one does not know where one is - and the Brits clock is the guide line or something to that affect.
