Hi Berona, I know I usually eat late at night but the meal I ate yesterday before I had a sleep was at around 4-30pm and then I went to bed as I tend to have a sleep for a couple of hour's after work, as I work longer hour's at the weekend it is usually around 4 to 5pm that I have my sleep.

I tend not to eat such a heavy meal at night and don't go to bed for at least 3hrs after the meal.

Sue I too envy you being able to do gardening, the reason I do employer's mum's garden is because I don't have one so do actually enjoy doing her's.

Hi, Tec. I wonder why it's harder to keep a smaller garden looking good? Most of our front and back garden is lawn - a lot of mowing and at this time of the year feeding and weeding but it does look nice.

Berona - we have lots of jacarandas around here - messy but beautiful. We had one in the back yard but when we had a garage built it had to go:-(

Good Morning Berona,

Hope you are well today, and the weather kind to you. Been a nice sunny day here, but a cold wind that made 7 C seem colder, tonight will be minus 2, and turning colder during the week with a Northerly wind from the Arctic - particularly cold in the North East where Linda lives.

Hello Tec - hope you and the duchess have had a good day.

Sue, I had a Jacaranda on the front fence alignment - but when I found a slight crack in the front patio, the tree had to go because the roots had travelled to the house. I cried when it went.

It seems that the two original homes on this site, had long back yards and long established gardens - with Wisteria on the fences. All of this was levelled (but not dug out). Then, when our complex was built, the fencers came along and just put the fences on top and consequently, each year, the Wisteria breaks the surface and starts to entwine between the sheets of metal on the fence. Every year, we have to get our Strata manager to ask the managers of the next-door complex to do something about it. It gets sprayed, and that's it for another year. I love Wisteria, but not when it threatens to break my fence up.

Good evening Tec, I did worry at first about the pain, but as my son's friend was here at the time and he has nursing qualification's and asked me a load of question's about the pain, he said he thought it was more likely that the pain was caused by indigestion but if it got more servere I should think about calling my GP or an ambulance.
Lesson learnt ( don't go to bed straight after a big meal ) especially one with pastry lol.

Things are not looking good for the trapped miners in New Zealand south island. Dangerous gas levels are stopping the rescue.
I sincerely hope they are rescued - and soon.

Diane Report 21 Nov 2010 22:13

Me too Berona, I haven't seen the latest new's but I'm hopeing the gas level's drop so they can move forward and try to get to them soon.

I'm having problems with this thread. It doesn't let me get beyond page 1380 for some reasons.

The latest news is looking ok for the miners but I don't think they know at this stage if they are alive:-(

I've been on page 1381 for the past three pages, Sue. Now, we have a new page and it's 1381 again.
I don't know why GR just don't shut down completely. They would stand a better chance of fixing problems than by trying to keep it active. The customers might not appreciate it - but apparently some of them don't already - considering the sarcasm I've seen in other threads. Might as well close down and do the job properly.

It must be unbearable for the families of the miners waiting for news. I find it incredible that in this day and age they can't manage to install some kind of communication between areas of the mine and the surface. I understand that mobile phones wouldn't work, but when you think they can communicate with men on the moon, and in Space, it shouldn't be so difficult.

Wasn't it 17dys before they heard anything from the Chilean miner's.
I pray that the outcome is the same as the chilean.

Our picklist of page numbers shows
1371 to 1380
1381 to 1380
No, that's not a typo. That's what it says.

Just had another look and now it's
1361 to 1370
1381 to 1380

??

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 21 Nov 2010 22:35

Mine too, Berona. I can't get past 1380. When I click on 1381 to 1380 it takes me back to 1380 with all our posts intact.

No wonder the thread is heywire, just checked it Berona ( just in case you were on the hard stuff ) lol and yes you are right.

A robot is being sent down the mine to see if it can detect anything inside.

Just checking in to see if there's any improvement yet. Don't know if we've lost some earlier posts or if the page numbering is out of whack, but we seem to be going backwards.
I'll try again later.
