Hi Carole - Don't worry about the faults. It's difficult enough introducing new changes to computer systems without trying to keep the current system going. I don't know why GR just don't say they are closing down for a day/two days, or whatever it takes, then open up again with everything running smoothly.

Of course, a few of us might suffer from withdrawal symptoms, and we might not like the changes - but we can look at that later.

Hello Berona

Its a bit confusing at the moment, I'm sure they will get the site working properly again:-) Hope its soon, there's a few very unhappy people around, cant say as I blame them!

Its been very hot here today, its also a bit smokey. I always worry when ever I see smoke!

How's the weather where you are? I think we are in for a very hot summer this year.

Hi all~~~

Hope everyone is well as you would like to be:)

I am waiting to see a Neurologist Orthopaedic Surgeon cos my Ulnar nerve is trapped, making my little and ring finger on my right hand tingly and numb, but this morning all my fingers are the same, hubby says it is from using the computer too much .lol
I've always suffered with cold hands and my right hand now looks white compared to my left.

I don't have a prob with reading earlier posts .as some of you say you have.
Like Tec I find it irritating and don't like the reply box at the bottom , I think it hasn't posted and end up double posting !

Have some phoning to do...speak later:)

I believe the pages are on elastic and now we are actually on page 1 all the time and then stretch out to 1381... but don't try to find 1381 because like Macavity it's not there. It takes you back to 1 again and then if you want to find a couple of days ago you have to go to 2 4 6 etc,

That's how it works for me and the time is 3.36am but I have been asleep and now I am going back to bed. I just had to check out a death in the middle of the night.

I see we are now going backwards - Page 1374?

Persey - Who has died in the middle of the night?

Perishing freezing here tonight - minus 2 and getting colder.

Snow on the mountains.

Good morning/evening everyone - a glorious sunny morning here.

I'm also back to page 1374. As long as we're still here I don't mind although it is a bit confusing.

Good Morning Sue,

Sounds like you're in for a lovely day - so are you gardening?, shopping? relaxing on the verandah with a book?,
or.........out with the ladies that lunch ? lol.

Tec..................8-43pm.

Good evening/morning. We are safely back home and all nice and warm. I am very tired and can't wait to get into my own bed.

We had a lovely time, little Eve is lovely, she has grown so much and is much more aware of her surroundings. The naming ceremony was very moving, she behaved impeccable throughout it.They had caters who turned up and cooked everything in the kitchen,it was extremely nice food, much better than the usual buffet.

Good Evening Linda,

Glad you're home again safe, and warm, if a little tired.

Sounds like you had a great weekend. Glad to hear the naming ceremony went well and that little Eve was on her best behaviour for the occassion. I expect she wondered what was going on with all that attention...

Tec.................8-58pm.

What on earth have they done to the site?
Eve was extremely good to say that there were so many people in the house. She is very amiable as long as her mum is around.

On Friday afternoon, my daughter took the opportunity to get her hair cut while we looked after Eve. She was very happy for the first half hour, but then got grumpy, but I got her off to sleep with no problems. Unfortunately she only slept for half an hour and then woke up, all smiley at first, but then she was howling for her mum. Her daddy was there, though he was ill in bed, but even he couldn't pacify her. Luckily my daughter was on her way back. Of course as soon as mum appeared, she was fine.

Hello Linda , it's good to see you back safe and sound . I'm glad that Eves naming ceremony went very well , she sounds as if she is very attached to her Mummy ....bless her : ))

Good evening Tec , I hope you don't freeze to much , we have been forecast snow here on the East coast in the next few days ....bbrrrrr

Good morning to you Sue , can we all bask in your tales of sunny days ....lol ...... I hope you get a good few in a row .

Hello Linda - we've missed you....no really we have:-)) I hope you gave our Eve lots of cuddles for us. She sounds delightful. Did she look gorgeous in her dress?

Tec - I don't have a lot planned today. The weather is so nice that I think I would be happy sitting on the verandah and reading. I don't go out with 'ladies that lunch' - not my thing lol

I don't know what GR have done to the site, but I expect it's called progress. I do know that it more difficult and fiddly to negotiate.

It's only natural for Eve to want her mum, and I don't blame her for scriking, good for her. I hope she can make a lot of noise to keep you on your toes lol.

It seems as if the GR " improvements " are driving a lot of folk round the bend .....lol ......it would all be ok if it all worked ok I suppose ?

Good Evening Amanda,

Yes I noticed that you have been promised snow - we have it already on the mountains but nothing at lower levels. We don't often get snow here being right on the coast, but last year even the beach was covered.
Think I will dig my thermals out lol.

Sue enjoy the sun and a good book.

I did pass on all your individual cuddles to Eve, I told my daughter and she thought I was mad, but she is amused at the thought of eve having cyber aunts and uncles all over the place.

She did look cute in her dress and little cardigan with a furry collar. The problem was that the dress was very silky,so it was bundled up round her neck most of the time. It was also soaking wet because she is dribbling all of the time and normally has her bid on

I'm just watching the live conference from NZ about the miners. It isn't looking good. The rescuers can't go in because of the poison gases so it's a waiting game - unfortunately the longer they have to wait the worse the outcome is likely to be.

I have seen some news about the mine Sue. The last I heard, they were almost there with the borehole and were going to put a robot in to see what was happening. Have they done that?
