Hello - just a quick visit to let you know I'm still around. I've not been well the last couple of days with a tummy bug that's left me feeling exhausted and no good for anything. I've been up for 20 minutes but I think I'll go back to bed and sleep it off. |

We are having two big days this year. DIL's mum will be just home from an op and need care, so son and DIL will need to be with her. Because of this, our Chistmas get-together will be on 19th - at daughter's home - then again on 25th, we will be there again for a late barbecue lunch/dinner and more party stuff with whoever can make it. It gets hard once your children have partners - you have to share them with their inlaws. |

Tec - Our shortest day is 21st June and our longest day is either 21st or 22nd December. I would know if I had bothered to check the sun times, but I always forget. |

Hello everyone. I am just looking in for a minute, then signing out. We have been on cinema duty tonight and it was incredibly cold as we walked back. There were sixteen intrepid souls who turned out to watch the film. |

Berona, January and February are normally our coldest months. To have such severe weather as we are having in late November is very unusual. June and July are our hottest months, although July in recent years has been a washout, with heavy rainfall. September and October this year were very nice with some lovely hot spells. |

Hi Linda - Hope you both have a lovely few days away. Do take care getting there - you can always turn back if it gets too hairy. |
