Hello Persey ...... believe you me , I shall NEVER do that again , the experience of the water shoot / slide was hell enough , the embarrassment of the disintegrating costume was a sort of anti-icing on the cake , as it where ......lol

Amanda, Your adventure on the slide sounds hilarious, hope your bum recovered quickly - as Persey said, reckless but brave.

Persey we can't have you hiding behind all that gear, the fleecey safety vest sounds good, especially here at the moment.

Tec...........10-48pm.

From Neil Sedaka's songs:

When I used to be a little kid I used to go
Every saturday afternoon to the picture show
I looked up at the screen my life was so serene
I lived through every dream with my movie queen
Betty Grable
Three-Hundred howling kids would always pack the house
But they just came for donald duck and mickey mouse
But there would be a world of fantasy right then the melody
she said 'dance for me'
Betty Grable
And just the other night I saw her on some late late show
And it occurred to me that I'm someone that
She'll never know
So I wrote this little song
For the lady that I've loved so long
Betty Grable

Sue, The Duchess said that if you'd been married to me for 48 years, you would be in no doubt about my sanity.
But she's still here I notice.

Looks like a golden wedding anniversary coming up in the not too distant future - now that is a good reason for a trip to Wales.

Persey I've heard that on radio, but not for a long time.

That's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time Amanda - I have such an image of you. Be careful - Tec may want to incorporate something similar into your photo shoot:-))

Persey - I didn't notice my little spelling error. How very observant of you...lol

48 years Tec? Well done - and here's me congratulating myself on 38 years tomorrow. An awkward time of year to have an anniversary - my mother told me I'd regret getting married just before Christmas.

I noticed the spelling error Sue ; ) Thank heaven for spell check , not that it would have picked up that .....lol

The swimming tale could have been so much easier if one of my daughters would have let me borrow their shorts that they had on , on top of their costumes , we stood in a distressed huddle argueing about it at the time but as usual , I didn't win the argument .

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Dec 2010 23:11
