Well at the moment I like dancing to George Michael music but anything that makes you want to tap your feet to will suit me. Berona has stopped by to say hello so she should be back soon. Hope you have your dancing shoes on Berona - I've cleared the dance floor:-))

She likes 50s,60s, 70s music, including Elvis and the Beatles,

Hasn't had a party since she was 18 -( so we'd better make this a good un,,)

Enjoy your drink Diane........get the Bailey's out of the wardrobe lol

THE LITTLE SHOEMAKER

In the shoemakers shop this refrain would never stop
as he tapped away, working all the day
At his bench, there was he, just as busy as a bee
little time to lose for the boots and shoes.

But his heart went pop inside the little shop
when a lovely girl set `em all a-whirl
she had come to choose some pretty dancing shoes
and he heard her say in a charming way.

Refrain:
Shoes to set my feet a-dancing, dancing
dancing, dancing all the day
shoes to set my feet a-dancing, dancing
dancing all my cares away.

Then he tapped and he stitched for his fingers were bewitched
and he sewed a dream into every seam
making shoes, oh, so neat just like magic on her feet
and he hoped she`d know that he loved her so

But she danced, danced, danced as though she were entranced
like a spinning top all around the shop
on her dainty feet she whirled into the street
and he heard her say as she danced away

Refrain...

At last CC - Diane and I were worried that we were going to be the only ladies dancing. By the way - a couple of pm's from Diane shows that she is having a great time. A few sore heads in the morning methinks. At the moment I have the radio on and the Rolling Stones are singing Harlem Shuffle so I'm now dancing to that. Please Tec.....keep up. This is not a slow dance song;-))

CC in regards to the the records you hold - am I to assume that we all have a connection to each other's ancestors? If so then I am right in saying that we are all one big happy family:-))

Hello CC

Mrs Noah's first name (at that time it wasn't a Christian Name!) was Igg.

You may have to think about that one :0))

Sue, I'm doing my best to keep up , but must you fly around the dancefloor like a banshee on speed.........I wasn't expecting to have to run after you.

CC.....One Cinzano coming up, cherries, olives, umbrella, rim of glass dipped in green castor sugar...........

Allan, I know that song........but who sang it?

hello and goodbye.
I have just arrived home. It has been a hilarious evening, but I will tell you about it tomorrow.
I have had rather a lot of the red stuff to drink and it has taken me ages to type this. If I stay, I will only disgrace myself, so I had better just go straight to bed.

Once again, Happy Birthday Diane.I did send you an email, at least I hope I sent it to you. I had better check my sent mail in the morning.

Goodnight.

Tec - you'll have to do better than that to keep up with me:-))

Goodnight Linda.........oh your head in the morning - ouch
