I knew you would be lurking somewhere Linda,

Hello Allan,

I don't lurk Tec, I simply wait in the back ground. Are you trying to goad us Allan?

Allan

Allan Report 5 Mar 2010 21:31

Linda, I have plenty to spare. Both thumbs affected which sometimes makes writing a bit difficult

Please stop hounding Tec about his kitchen. The Poor man probably cops it from the Duchess as well!

Good evening Tec

I restarted the Ethics thread but the girls were onto it in a flash, although they haven't been there recently :o))

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Mar 2010 21:33

I will be at it in the kitchen for weeks probably Linda, but I'm allowed to put my tools away at 6 o'clock each day.

Good Morning Berona - hope you are well today

Hounding? I am merely enquiring about his hard work in order to praise him

Berona

Berona Report 5 Mar 2010 21:34

Linda - mine is Osteo-arthritis. Couldn't have the common one, you know - not with that finishing-school education behind me!
You can have the part that's in the wrists - most annoying at times, but I'm sure you would be able to handle it.

Allan

Allan Report 5 Mar 2010 21:35

Goad??

How is enquiring how you both are goading??

Sheesh !

You are so kind to bequeath me your osteo arthritis Berona. It won't stop me from typing will it?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Mar 2010 21:38

Sometimes Allan - a chap can't do right for wrong, but then as a married man you will know that.

Allan, if you are trying to get me to feel sorry for you, you ought to know better than that

Berona

Berona Report 5 Mar 2010 21:45

Doesn't stop me, Linda. I had to give up crochet and don't do much knitting any more - and my handwriting is all wonky these days. However, to type, my wrists stay straight and the fingertips do all the work - and thankfully, the arthritis has only affected one thumb, which I can still use on the spacebar.

Allan

Allan Report 5 Mar 2010 21:45

Thanks Tec, I do!

Linda, sympathy is the last thing I'm looking for as I never receive any no matter what.

It's just the same at home!

That's why I like this thread: it's so homely

Linda.......In the not too distant future, you are to become someone's Grandma.

Grandma's are kind, loving, gentle sweet souls.

Try to imagine you are Allan's Grandma, be kind to him.

Tec,are you trying to infer that I am old enough to be Allans grandmother?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 5 Mar 2010 21:55

Not at all Linda,

Just practice on him - shove a sweet in his mouth every time he opens it,

my granny did that - kept me quiet :))

Hello Tec - sorry I didn't acknowledge your greeting before. Hope you and the duchess are both well.

As for practicing on Allan in preparation for being a grandma.....
That requires a big stretch of the imagination...........a BIG stretch!!!

Allan

Allan Report 5 Mar 2010 21:59

Tec, If you say, or post, something that can be taken in one of two ways, you can guarantee that the females of the species will always choose the one that puts the males in a bad light!

I posted a poem about a Granny on the Ethics thread!

Sweets, oh no that would not be allowed, just think of the poor child's teeth.

Berona, if I thought the child would be like Allan,...shudders. Luckily it is a girl
