Thank you Linda,

The trouble with warfarin is, that the smallest cut bleeds like there's been a massacre.......most agravating......1 g or 2? looks wrong.

Obviously also thins the brain

I haven't shaved for 20 years..........

Long white beard LOL

I use an electric razor.

Have you ever tried shaving on a ship when the deck is bouncing under your feet?

Tec

I hate it when he doesn't shave, he looks like Steptoe and it prickles.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 6 Mar 2010 21:38

Actually, I have never found the need to shave,so I wouldn't know about the ship

Tecwyn Report 6 Mar 2010 21:46

I've got to take the dog to the garden

What's wrong with our company?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 6 Mar 2010 21:49

I thought that taking the dog for a walk meant something different lol

Your company is excellent Tec, it just isn't female

Allan

Allan Report 6 Mar 2010 21:51

Tec, I think that our company has gone into liquidation.

At the very least, in Linda's eyes, our respective stocks have fallen. Well mine have anyway ;0))

Allan

seeing you in the stocks would be fun Allan

Berona

Berona Report 6 Mar 2010 21:53

Berona has been up for a while, but you people have been chatting a lot and it has taken me until now to get up to speed!!

Anyway - good evening and good morning to you all!

Have just remembered that my specialist told me to take Aspirin. I asked 'what kind of aspirin?' and he said - "just aspirin". Is that what I ask for at the pharmacy?
My SIL (who classes herself as a 'expert' on heart problems - knows EVERYTHING) told me that aspirin 'causes' heart problems! I think I'll take notice of the specialist in preference to her, but just want to make sure that I get the right thing!

Tecwyn Report 6 Mar 2010 21:55

I'm no good at being female - it's my genes.

I actually did take the dog in the garden,

It doesn't mean the same as powdering your nose......

Do ladies still powder their noses?

Tec

I am really glad to see you Berona.

My mum used to take aspirin, she had a soluble one every morning, but it was the lowest dose you can get, not the high dose you take for headaches.

Allan

Allan Report 6 Mar 2010 22:00

Good morning Berona

I take aspirin. I buy the generic brand at my regular Pharmacy. I pay in the region of $3.00 for a box of 100 tablets.

They are only one quarter of the strength of the old aspirin taken for pain relief, which were known to sometimes cause internal bleeding.

Just ask for a box of Aspirin, and ask them to give you the cheapest.
