Good Morning Berona,

Aspirin is a very mild anticoagulant - OH takes a 75mg tablet every morning - in theory it is supposed to help prevent strokes, heart attacks etc.
Just ask pharmacy for Aspirin, he will give you the lowest mg probably.

Thanks Linda and Allan. I will admit that my SIL does have spasms of internal bleeding but she has been on heart medication for many many years. I can't imagine that starting aspirin at my age should cause a problem. I was just wondering what to ask for, so will do as you suggest.

Hello CC

I think that you have to take the aspirin with food Berona, so that it doesn't damage the stomach wall.

Tomatoes are to expensive to let rot CC, but i do have some old sponges we wash the car with, the ywil ldo nicely to throw at Allan

Linda - when I sold my previous house, the first viewers were a young couple who were 'starting' to look. They went away and I heard no more. After that, there were fourteen different viewings - some very keen - some not interested - not what they wanted. Then suddenly, a building inspector turned up and went through the place. The first couple to look had engaged him and when they received his report, they made an offer and bought it - three months after looking at it! You can never tell what the outcome will be until the contracts are actually exchanged. I hope you have a positive outcome on this one. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

The people who eventually bought our last house were one of the first to look at it. they too came back much later. I have had bad experiences with the selling of the last two houses we have sold, so I know that until the contracts are exchanged nothing is guaranteed.
at least this time it is easier because the house is empty,so is the top of the chain and I don't have to move myself

I dread the surveyor coming to look at mums house. with a bit of luck, they will just pay for a basic survey and not a full one

The sponges are revolting CC,so will be just the job

All houses now have to have a HIP before they can be put on the market. That is a real con, most of the searches are done my some little junior on the internet. The hardest part is gathering all the information about any alterations, the servicing of all the appliances, etc. i did all of that and filled in the form for them. A surveyor came out and stated the obvious about the insulation. They then charged us a load of money to produce a glossy reort which no one is interested in

CC - I do things like that. I often record the wrong show, and it's always one which I wanted for a particular reason. However, my excuse is Old Age - what's yours?

Linda - hope you sleep well and warm. Thanks for controlling the boys during your shift. I will take over now, with the help of CC - and I'll probably need it! Tec will be going to bed soon - but it's when he gets up in the morning that worries me - if yesterday is anything to go by! Allan prowls the boards and paves the way for him - and that's when I have my hands full! Hurry home, Sue!

Berona,
I think you're on your own, I think CC has chicked out,

so you'll have to get wielding the walking stick again, but go easy on Allan, he's injured, and can't run fast today.

Good! That means I have the advantage over him!

Well, I'm going now too! Not to bed - but to clear my conscience with FreeBMD and catch up with some transcribing. I've been doing well this week, so don't want to spoil it!

Sleep well Tec...........watch it, Allan!! I'm not going away from the computer, so will be looking in occasionally.

Allan

Allan Report 6 Mar 2010 23:09

Tec, Diane is also lurking in the background. I had a pm from her yesterday telling me I was busted!

Bye Berona,
Don't work too hard on the transcribing, you will go cross eyed, then you'll never know who's me, and who's him, and who can run faster. LOL
