Only from 'time to time' Linda? I hit the bottle daily - the French Vinagrette bottle, that is. I have meat and salad for lunch, followed by a piece of fruit. The salad is big with lashings of the dressing - no wonder my insides feel good!
This is my main meal. I only have a light evening meal.

Does your nose twitch, and have you a fluffy white tail?

Are you saying that those old rhymes are still allowed? I would have thought that the 'correct parenting' people would have had them banned by now - they've banned just about everything else we and our ancestors grew up with!

Berona

Berona Report 7 Mar 2010 23:38

Tec - I AM fighting fit - I even have the added advantage of the walking stick! - so watch it!!!

Berona, I'm not saying that the old Rhymes are still allowed, just that I remember them.

I'm beginning to find PC a bit of a haemorrhoid.

It has gone too far and really needs interpreting with common sense.

I'm not sure when Sue is due back. They are flying, so I suppose it depends on what the air traffic has to go through.
Carole said she can't imagine that our weather is so good - well, we have a clear blue sky and bright sunshine with the temperature warming up again, so hopefully, Sue will return to that as she is not far from me, but we don't always have the same weather. With wild storms to the south of us in Melbourne and floods in Queensland - I just hope their weather blows out to sea, and not our way!
Oops - sorry Perse - I don't mean for it to keep going until it gets to you!

Berona

CC has asked me to say goonight to every one, on her behalf.

CC has won a 24hr ban for something posted on another thread.

The ban ceases at midnight Monday, but due to her work etc CC will not be posting again until Tuesday evening.

I am assuming that these are UK times

Hello everyone:-))

Swims onto thread, the rain still hasn't let up. I got woken up at 5.30am this morning with the rain belting down on the roof, it really scared me!! I walked around the house, checking to make sure everything was as it is supposed to be. I hate to say this, "I'm over this rain" its too much:-((

Dear me, CC why on earth did you receive a 24 hour ban??

I'm so glad you are back to being you, Allan.

Thinking of you our Sue, come back to us soon:-))

Right I'm going to venture out while there is a lull in the rain!

Welcome Paul.

I'm Carole, I live in Victoria, east of Ballarat - a fair distance from Stawell, sorry.
My ancestors are mostly from the UK so I have no experience of research in Australia that I could offer, again sorry!
The only person I know of with experience of researching in Australia is Tony from Oz, who sometimes posts here and on the Wattlers thread on General. Tony also has a thread on Tips Board (I think)with lots of idea's on research in Australia.

Well hello my lovelies......I'm baaaaack!!! We've had the most wonderful weekend with great weather which is amazing considering Melbourne's wild storms - thought we may have got some of the bad weather. Hope you're ok Carole - I've been thinking of you.

Hello Paul - hope you come back often:-))

I've read back over the last few pages and in general you fellas have behaved yourselves. Of course I haven't looked at the other threads to see what Allan's got up to. Who's this Allam fellow? Just a couple of things Allan and Tec -

"Have you noticed that when mother is away the solidarity of the Sisterhood melts more rapidly than ice on the desert sand!!" -

"Maybe the sisterhood thinkwe are a formidable twosome, and they're hiding behind their petticoats?" -

"So much for Sue's baloney yesterday about 'handling' men :0))"

"Allan, They delude themselves that we can be "handled" . But if it gives them a sense of power and control - let's amuse them, poor misguided little fillies."

Did you really think I wouldn't read your comments when I got back. Tut tut.

Linda - congratulations on finding out that you are going to have a little grand-daughter. She will be a joy.

We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend we spent with our son and grandson. "A" is our eldest grandson and a delight. We allowed him to pick where we would go and he chose a museum with many interesting exhibitions. The only thing he wouldn't let me see was an Egyptian mummy - he thought I would be too scared. The next day we went to the Botanical Gardens so he could show us the prickly plants (cactus) and the beautiful flowers "because you love flowers Grandma and I want you to have a happy holiday". We also had a lovely fish and chips lunch because he thought Grandad would like something special. See what you have to look forward to Linda?

Sue xx
