It has been nice here all week Tec, we only had the rain this evening for a while. It is supposed to clear up and be sunny but cold for the rest of the week.

I am off to bed now, so enjoy the rest of your evening/day which ever applies

CC hasn't been here tonight, has she been bad again?

Maybe CC. has been tagged as well, so is under curfew LOL,

Goodnight Linda, sleep well.

Berona Report 9 Mar 2010 23:01

For the past four nights, our lowest temp was 18-20. That's high for Autumn. The days have been 28-31, but to-day is cloudy with the forecast for rain over the next three days. I'll believe that when it happens!

Sorry Allan. Didn't notice it was a funnel. I thought it was your mouth! As long as you enjoyed it!!

Sorry to have missed all the goodbyes and I'm now going to add my own

Have a good night/day as appropriate

Berona,

We've had several days of brilliant sunshine, blue skies.unusual for early March. Daytime temps of 7 C, and last night it was -7 with a sharp frost this morning.

I hope CC is still with us but I see that we have a few missing - sitting out on the norty step. Hope she isn't with them! Once again, I missed it so don't know what it is all about.

Persephone Report 9 Mar 2010 23:11

Sorry am late again - have been visiting the norty step.

CC - could never be bad in my books - heart of gold and a great sense of humour. I am really sorry that she had the misfortune to be banned.

Also late with my conratulations Tec - great achievement well done getting three great nephews all at once. Congratulations to Mrs Tec as well.
There was a short thread on here last night Tec making enquiries about Pontycmer - wondered if you saw it or knew the place - I can nudge for you if you like.

~~~~~~~~~~~to Diane and wherever Pat is have not seen her for awhile.
Berona,
I never know what goes on with other threads - I sometimes read the ones with an interesting title, but don't bother with troubled ones.
It's a scary world out there, and I can't be bothered.
Hello Perse,
This is an unexpected pleasure............
I didn't know you'd been on the norty step as well - whatever's going on.
I think Pontycymer is in South Wales, not sure.
Imagine having three babies all at once - their mum is a tiny girl, very slight, so I think she will develope some muscle in her arms with them.
It should all be good fun, especially when they start getting about.
Persephone Report 9 Mar 2010 23:29
Not me Tec - me norty - well sometimes - I was just visiting the supplies thread for those spending Time Out.
I once sent my daughter for time out in her room - she was five or six - our house was close to the street and her room was on that side. The little blighter went in there and proceeded to yell help, help so passers by could here her. Little minx. But I couldn't help laughing - but did not let her see that. Imagine if three of them did that or if their Time Out was staggered - mind blowing.
All this talk of beer - we make great beer here in NZ and down in Greymouth they make Monteith's Black Ale ice cream.
Cheers Persey
Berona Report 9 Mar 2010 23:33
I think it would be nice to 'goo goo' them while they are in their cribs - but once they get mobile - ??? - not to mention the teething, etc. Oh dear - I loved it (one at a time) but I don't relish the thought of going through it again - and triple!!!
Tec - I don't know what it's like to have a temp of minus7. Even when I was living in London, the lowest was -2. Where I am, our mid-winter overnight coldest temp has been down to 4, but that's about as low as it gets. Within 20 miles of here in the mountains, it can get down to -3 and they get snow - but we don't. However, each year seems to be getting different from the last one - so who knows?
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 9 Mar 2010 23:38
Well, that's a relief Perse,
I can't really imagine you getting banned, though I have to I would laugh. I have got a warped sense of humour.
That is so funny about your daughter in her room, but it shows spirit - is she still the same LOL.
I can remember having a very good pint in Aukland, well several actually, at the Great Northern, which you said has now gone.
I didn't care for Aussie beer, but don't tell them.
The Monteith's Black Ale ice cream sounds interesting.
Must be off. Things to do. Tec - you will be getting "the look" if you don't move! Pleasant dreams. Talk later to anyone who cares to listen!
Tecwyn Report 9 Mar 2010 23:45
Berona,
We still have snow on the mountains, been up there for weeks.
I just hope we get a decent summer, the last few summers have been a washout. Our climate has definately changed.
On the news today they showed Barcelona under the deepest snow they've had for 25 years.....very strange.
Haumoana on our East Cape has been in having heavy swells and high tides - the day before yesterday 30 houses were evacuated and two properties were taken by the Sea. It is only a little community about 400 houses - quite frightening if you lived there. They lose a bit of their coastline each year about 0.7 metres and houses have had to be moved away from the coastline. Was once a whaling community.
The weather certainly puts a dampner on things be it heat resulting in fires and dried up rivers or the reverse and floods etc. The UK must be very damp after such heavy snow.
Have a good kip CC - thanks for the PMs.
And I am off to a late lunch - just me and my boot for lunch - we don't always speak to each other and I got very disgruntled with it during the night and there was a stand off and then a take off and it spent from 3am sleeping on the floor.
~~~~~~~~~to all those that have not been on here today. We are but ships that pass in the night.
