Linda,
Please don't let me put you off. One of my other friends at work googled d v t and she said they can happen any time. A couple of years agon Jenny went to Australia and I thought she flaked out when she got off the plane. I'll try not to take my friends for granted.

Sue, my cousin has two sons, both of West Indian descent.

Two of my nephews are of Chinese descent.

My wifes parents were Ukranian and I have both Irish and English blood in my veins

The whole family grouping is very multi-cultural!

I'm going to bed now
I promise that I won't leave it so long next time. My niece is marrying a German in August. I don't think I've got any other foreign relatives.

Tec, I've just been to the Legacy website.

Unfortunately it is not a cruise to Australia, but from Sydney to New Zealand and then back to Sydney.

Maybe all us Aussies could also book :0))

The cruise sounds good Tec, of course we should book it

My direct line through my father leads to Ireland where I lose it, all the rest are well and truly English

Goodnight Pat, sleep well.

Sue, There were hundreds of thousands of Roman soldiers encamped in North Wales for many years. Obviously they charmed the local girls, so logically and genetically, the Welsh must be part Roman, or Italian if you like - many Welsh people certainly have a Mediterranean look to them.

I think I'll decline the chance of a cruise from Sydney to NZ and back again.
I have done it before and although the ships might be more stable these days, I still remember the trip - vividly!
I had travelled from England to Wellington, then overnight by train to Auckland and boarded the ship for Sydney. It was only that I had already been at sea for nearly a month which kept ME stable, and even so, I still felt a little 'queasy'. Many passengers disappeared after the first meal and didn't surface again until breakfast on the morning that we docked in Sydney.
