LindainHerriotCountry Report 18 Mar 2010 20:26

but the Duchess will be very disappointed if you don't finish the kitchen soon. After all, you have the dining room to do as well

Tecwyn

oh shut up LindainHerriotCountry.

You can go off people you know!

I was merely being helpful, helping you to plan your work schedule Tec. What else are you planning to do if you don't do the kitchen then?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Mar 2010 20:36

I could lie on the beach counting the incoming waves.

I could go for a long walk in the forest and count the trees.

I could sit on the mountain and count the sheep.

The possibilities are endless.

You could indeed do all of those things, but that doesn't mean you will

Tecwyn

I haven't been in the village pub for two years at least, now under new management - might have to check that out.

That sounds like a good idea. if they do meals, you could take the Duchess out for lunch.

Good evening and good morning all.

Allan - I wouldn't go to far as to say you are revolting.

CC - Tec could 'drive' the cruiser, but I wonder about Linda's navigating abilities. I know she has had a few holidays, but.....

Tec - What's with all the counting?

Linda - the cricketer 'popped' home and the ring was flushed. Plumbers couldn't find it - $200K worth! Temper, temper!

Sue - How is the little fellow now? My 6yo has been "not well" all week and is being watched for signs of appendix. I hate to see the little ones not well.

Last time we had a meal there, it was horrible. But I hear things have improved, though expensive. I would rather pay for something we would enjoy.
The pub gets very busy once the season starts, so now would be a good time to go.

Hello Berona, it is Tec who is revolting and refusing to work on the kitchen

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Mar 2010 21:22

Good Morning Berona,

It's me that's revolting..............

Counting keeps the brain active, important at my age.

Quote - "The cricketer popped home, and the ring was flushed. Plumbers couldn't find it.- $200K worth -temper temper" unquote.

Please tell me what that's all about - my mind is boggled.

Good morning/evening everybody.

Berona, thank you for that vote of confidence!

Linda, just recently onr of Australia's cricket team (the vice captain) was engaged to a model. The engagement ring was worth $200,000.00

Then a nude photo of her appeared in a woman's magazine which had ben taken by a previous boyfriend who also happened to be a well known footballer (Aussie Rules) and was at that time married. The affair sparked a divorce and did occur before she became engaged.

Now, instead of doing the sensible thing and saying that the whole thing was unfortunate, she sold the whole story to the magazine for an alleged $200,000.00. She also changed agents and went with one of Australia's sleaziest!

Fiance flew home from New Zealand where the Aussies are currently on tour, breaks of the engagement and she flushes the ring down the toilet. Plumbers called in but can't find it (Now everyone is going through the motions!)

The young lady is only 22 and will be best known to Brits as the face of the "Where the bl**dy hell are you?" ads that ran last year in the UK

Allan

Allan

Allan Report 18 Mar 2010 21:31

The young lady wants to break into television but doesn't have the right personality so she seems to be trying to achieve fame (and fortune) by latching onto well known (and very well paid) sports stars

Just after the engagement there was a rift between the cricketer and his mother over the engagement.

It seems now that mother may have known best!

Good morning Allan. What a silly young girl ,had she been more mature, she would simply have kept it and sold it.

Good Morning Allan,

Thanks for explanation of the cricketer and the ring - what silly silly people they all are.

Allan Report 18 Mar 2010 21:40

I think that the cricketer was besotted with her, he also gave her an extremely expensive Aston Martin and they shared a flat in Sydney worth $600,000.00

The car was stolen recently but was recovered with no damage

The girl had a brilliant mathematical brain every thing she had was in multiples of $200,000.00

I'm not sure whether or not it is just me, but I don't find the so-called models all that attractive.

I see prettier girls everyday out and about......and they are all of a normal size!

Allan

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Mar 2010 21:43

Looks like that young lady has achieved her fame and fortune status then!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 18 Mar 2010 21:49

It's not just you Allan - I've never found models especially attractive, either like stick insects, or flouting grossly over developed frontages, neither appeals to me..........far prettier girls around here.
