Oh dear Sue, no wonder you are feeling down.

Allan I have full worldwide Ancestry and full Find my Past as well. They both have their strengths, but for the census searches, I prefer Ancestry If I could only have one site , it would be Ancestry but I am now on my second or third year of FMP

Thank you for reminding me of the rugby score Tec.

Allan Report 20 Mar 2010 22:02

Thanks Linda,

I may take advantage of Ancestry's two weeks free offer if it is still available.

Sue I hope thatyour little dog does rally round. It is so difficult when they have been with you for so long.

I know what I felt like when we fnally decided to take our 20 year old cat to the vets for the final time!

Berona,

I must also go. We have the chidren round today for an early Barbie so I have to help prepare some of the salads (and let the meat defrost!)

Have a great Sunday.

I'll try to get back on mid-afternoon if I can

Like the little hearts around your name Sue

Haven't thoroughly read your posts - came on here last night but ended up watching Hinge and Brackett - as per that thread. Then I got into funny takes on Coro Street and ended up keeping Diane's hours again and was late getting to sleep.

We are off out to dinner tonight - our granddaughter will be 15 next Sunday - but she must have something else on that night cause we all got invited to an Italian Restaurant tonight so that will make a pleasant chane. I got a text from my Granddaughter a few weeks ago asking me if she could have money instead of presents. Usually I give her a few gifts and take her out for a McDonalds (that's what my Grandchildren eat) and take her clothes shopping.
When my OH found out that we were eating Italian tonight he said to me "Do they do McDonalds there?"

Perse xx
Hope you enjoy your daffodils Tec.

Good afternoon everyone:-)

Persey, those Welsh have strange eating habits, why cant they eat something normal like witcherty(sp) grubs or chocolate coated ants or the like!

Today is OH and my wedding anniversary. Of coarse I forgot as I do every year, Its usually the man that forgets - not in my house!!!
He gave me with a beautiful set of coffee cups, they are unusually shaped and white, plus some perfume - He spoils me, but I don't deserve to be. Hangs head in shame!!!!

Sending more ((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) to our Sue xx

Hello Perse and Carole. Missed you again, but what the heck - you'll pick up the thread next time you look in.

Perse - hope you enjoy celebrating your granddaughter's birthday.

Carole - Happy Anniversary to you both.

I've had a greeting message from Diane. She's still up to her old tricks - the message time was 4:16am!!...that's UK time!

Hello to Berona, Carole and Persey.

Carole, Happy Anniversary to you and your OH.

Persey, a granddaughter aged 15: surely not. You are too young!

Berona, what a day.

I was about to take the meat out of the freezer for the Barbie when my daughter phoned.

Could we go round to her place rather than they come here. It was her partner's 12th birthday last week and yesterday they had a party for her.

Heaps of food left over, so rather than waste it could we help them finish it off.

So we went there. My son couldn't make it as he was showing a few houses.

I'm as bloated as, and next week looking forward to planning something that actually turns out. My entire last week has gone of the organisational wheels!

Hello Allan,
Are you sure you got that birthday right? Sounds a bit young!

Sue has been having problems accessing Genes. She contacted me and asked me to send her a GR message, but it's showing that it's still unopened after well more than an hour.

Are you having any problems? Mine is going fine, and no-one seems to have trouble on other threads - so if Sue is missing, we will know why.

Berona

Berona Report 21 Mar 2010 09:26

Hi CC, you posted while I was dragging the chains with mine.

I was wondering if the little hearts might have something to do with Sue's problem, although she can't get access to Genes, so possibly hasn't got as far as using the boardname.

Allan Report 21 Mar 2010 09:28

Berona, I had a brandy to settle my stomach and it has obviously unsettled my head :0))

That comment should have read partner's daughter's 12th birthday.

I think that if my daughter had taken up with a 12 y.o. I would be raising some very specific objections!!!

No problems with GR at this end!

My only other problem (apart from the Brandy!) is that I now have a cat on my desk as well as a mouse!!

Allan - I'm glad you explained that, although I did think you might be sampling the cooking sherry.

Did you get to thaw the meat? If not - that's good. All the more for our barbecue to celebrate when you finish the back garden.
