Persephone Report 22 Mar 2010 02:02

Afternoon all,

Did not think much of the Italian place that we ate at - but it did lots of Pizzas which two of the girls had - I think I got the best meal out of the lot of us. There was just too much on the menu for anything to be done really well and the place was packed and chef apparently was run off his feet. Their timing was way out of kilter - my two granddaughters got their pizzas and were nearly finished before the rest of the staggered meals arrived. My SIL got 10% knocked off the bill and they gave him a voucher. But to be honest I think I would've preferred BurgerFuel across the road. I like their kumara pattie burgers.

Did you go out Carole for you wedding anniversary - you are lucky to get such nice presents - we didn't even do cards for each other. We aren't half a pack of sad b***ards.

Mel Gibson eh Allan - get to paint your face wheeliebin colours and do a braveheart - Neil Morrisey did that on "Men Behaving Badly" - somehow that programme always reminds me of you and Tec when you go on your jaunts.
I am looking forward to the second series of Band of Brothers - they have just repeated the first one so am all set for WW2 in Japan now. Speilberg and Hanks do a very good production and if the first series was anything to go by this one should keep me enthralled.

Hi Persey,

No we didn't go out, but OH fancied some KFC for dinner, so I went and picked him up some! I had completely forgotten about it, which I do most years. I felt really terrible when he walked in bearing gifts.
I'll have to make it up to him somehow!!!!

The shopping sounds good, Perse:-))

I'm off to take the little man to the doc's, I think he has Tonsillitis.

Hope your young fellow feels a lot better soon, Carole. If he's put on antibiotics he'll be feeling better by morning. It must be the time for bugs and viruses. Janet's boys have been ill too.

Good morning (just quickly) as my guests are still here.

Sorry to hear that your son is not well Carloe
For one minute Berona, I thought that you had defied medical science there.

Anyway I am sulking, "out of sight out of mind" so to speak. I notice only Berona gets a part in the film! Huff

Berona

Berona Report 22 Mar 2010 11:35

How was I defying medical science? If I need to take another tablet for it - I'm not interested. I rattle when I shake now!

Don't sulk...We'll get Tec to write a part in the film for you. I was going to suggest you be my maid, but Allan will no doubt want that part, unless he wants to be one of the warriors, then he might lend you his maid's outfit

Got up at sparrow's f**t this morning.

Just performing my duties now - and moving thread from 1/2 way down page three to page one for my friends.

Persey

PS: Hope your youngster is back to normal Carole.
I didn't get a part in the film - but I understand NZ is so full of Oscar statues there would be no room for one more.

((((( (^_^) ))))))

Hello Perse. You should still be in bed

Berona, I meant defying medical science by having a six year old son

Hello CC, we arrived together

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Mar 2010 19:24

I am glad you sorted it out CC. I was going to tell you that they are the frstatic.net ones.
I haven't had much time for the last couple of days as my son was here. He has gone home now, so I am missing him already

Persephone Report 22 Mar 2010 19:25

Oh no I shouldn't (in reply to Linda)

It is nearly 8.30am now - I was up really early and had been doing all sorts of scans on the computer.... so it is clear of everything bit like my brain.

I got my name back the other day and then last night it vanished again so I am back to being:
the nameless dread
that appears on this thread.

Well off for toast or yoghurt or something.
My daughter gave me a pot of Merlot Jelly - and I tried a bit the other night on a piece of bread and then I tried another bit. It recommended having it with cheese so yesterday I had crackers merlot Jelly and cheese and tried lots more. OH got home and thought hmmm better have some of this before it vanishes. I am wondering how it would go on vanilla yoghurt - think I might just try it.

signed not only nameless but trying as well.

Greetings to everyone from the Principality.

Will you all stop throwing tantrums because you haven't got parts in the latest Hollywood blockbuster.
I haven't finished casting yet - except for Berona, who is the Damsel in Distress. The male stars will be Mel Gibson, Russell Crowe, Johny Depp,
Allan, and I.
Should anyone have any flashes of inspiration re the script/plot, these will be seriously considered. Please bear in mind this production will be aimed at a family audience.

CC. The Sisterhood compared to the female Mafia is grossly unfair to the Mafia - those guys are pussycats by comparison.

Tec.
