As Miss CC asked after my dog I shall give you an update.

The medication over the weekend was successful in getting rid of a lot of the congestion in her lungs - so no coughing. Yesterday (Monday) she went to the vet's for the day. When I picked madam up the vet showed me her x-rays and her heart is larger than it should be but less than he originally thought. So to cut a long story short - she is on heart medication for life, the fluid tablets will be cut out at the end of this week and she should, with care, live to her normal lifespan. Phew!! She did give us a scare.

To top off the good news my daughter had some test results come back clear. She has had a couple of "women's tests" come back a little dodgy so her doctor decided to investigage further. All's well. When your family are healthy and happy then that's all that matters. Any other problems seem small in comparison.

Berona Report 22 Mar 2010 20:19

Good evening everyone - and good morning Sue. Left my computer ON all night, so no hassles this morning!

Linda - I find it hard to keep up with the 6yo grandson - and he's a 'good' boy (as far as 6yo's go). He is also taken home after a few hours - and I can have a rest until next time! I would never cope with him full-time! How did that lady go? - the one who was in her seventies and wanted IVF treatment? Maybe the men in white coats came for her?

Tec - I'm so pleased that Mel and Russell are in the movie. Russell's home is not far north from here and he spends what time he can here in Sydney with his football team (Rugby League). I should ring him next time he is here and make myself known to him - since I'm going to be his co-star......Oh WOW! Russell's co-star! I'm in Heaven!!!

CC - 6 monthly tests for the next year and then yearly if all is well. She thinks it's a nuisance - I say thank goodness for a vigilant doctor.

I don't like any of the leading men. I would quite like to play opposite Keanu Reeves - yes yes I know he's a bit young for me - or perhaps George Clooney. I would play hard to get - well for a few minutes anyway;-))

Sue, You must be very relieved with your daughters good news, and that things look better for the little dog. Hope you feel better now.

Linda, Hope you enjoyed your sons visits over the weekend, great to see them isn't when they live a long way off. I think it will be Easter now when my daughter visits.

Berona, You don't have to go all gaga over Russell Crowe. Did you know he has Welsh connections. His uncle has a wholesale fruiterers/greengrocery business in the town we used to live in. He made several visits before he became mega famous.

CC.... Bon Jovi is fully booked - and the budget doesn't go that far.

I think the film should be about Tec and the Duchess's Mansion and all the staff that Tec interviewed awhile back and who are still waiting to start their jobs.

I could be a downstairs maid having a flirtation with Keanu Reeves at the kitchen door when he delivers the veggies.

Sue - I'm so pleased you have had good news about both your daughter and your dog. Health is the most important thing. As long as that is there, you can cope with anything else.

CC - those soapies are a starting point for a lot of the young actors. It's all part of the process for them.

Tec - Both Russell and Mel are a bit on the wild side for me - but that might be exciting!

Perhaps Pierce Brosnan could be Tec's wicked playboy brother who naturally takes advantage of the cook (who wouldn't put up much of a fight)

Allan

Allan Report 22 Mar 2010 21:08

Good evening'morning all

Sue, I'm pleased that it's good news all round for your family.

So my original idea of world domination by my woad painted wheelie bins has been hijacked by the sisterhood all demanding a say in who the leading male leads should be.

Well I've cancelled my idea for the time being.

The bins were to be painted with woad not as a tribute to Mel Gibson, but because they offer a woadside pick-up rubbish service!

I hope that Janet is OK. Perth copped a h*ll of a storm yesterday at about 4.00pm. Not as bad as the one in Melbourne, but bad enough!

We actually had our own Light show last night.

The sunset varied from blood-red to dark orange before dissolving into a dirty grey colour all in the space of a few minutes.

......And then the lightning started! Sheet lightning, fork, lightning, the lot and some more rain.

The thunder just seemed to roll around the sky.

We unplugged everything but took a punt and recorded MKR.

Storms forecast again for today.

Although our weather was bad it was not in the same league as Perth's

All these names being thrown about.
It hasn't gone un-noticed that nobody is falling over themselves to play opposite Allan and I..............

I haven't forgotten the Staff Register for my mansion,

Berona = PA and IT Consultant.
Sue = Housekeeper.
Linda = Goddess in the kitchen
Perse = In charge of livestock - donkey, llama, etc etc.
Diane = Companion to the Duchess (Heaven help her)
Allan = Maid With The Hairy Legs.

We need a job for CC as this was prior her arrival .
I need a chauffeur

Hello Allan,
You a re a spoilsport. I bet if we were suggesting lot's of nubile lady actresses, you wouldn't be cancelling the film.
