Hi Allan,

Your storm sounds a bit of a hum-dinger - bet the cats were under the bed. Was there any useful rain in the end.

Don't worry the plot hasn't been hijacked by the Sisterhood - just thought I'd let them live their fantasies for a while - who could deny them that?

Linda, carry onr picking the nubile actresses for Tec and myself!!

I haven't cancelled the film, just my domination of the world witha marauding pack of wheelie bins.

I spoke to them this morning and they thought that it was a wheelie bad idea!

Tec, useful rain on an individual basis ie we wont have to water the garden for a few days, but nowhere near enough rain to have any effect on dam levels.

In the SW we are lucky that we have underground supplies from what is known as the Yarrgadee aquifer which stretches for Kilometres, and which has several recharge points, some of which are in areas that receive regular rainfall

CC........... None of my Staff has to go shopping - for goodness sake - everything is delivered to the back door by trades people, you know, the dirty unwashed ones that will rip you off if they can.

Linda the Kitchen Goddess will oversee food deliveries, and Sue the Housekeeper is in charge of all non food deliveries.

Sue's main duities entail drifting about the house looking formidable with a big bunch of keys around her waist.

I am not having any cheap food delivered to my kitchen. Nothing but the best for the master and the Duchess. That way the staff will get to eat first class cuisine as well.

Tec, your posting of the list of positions has reminded me that here in Oz we have a jackpot lotto this weekend (27th) with a top prize of $27,000,000 from memory.

I might buy a couple of tickets!

Linda.....I'm watching a programme on TV about a Yorkshire Brass Band, place called Dinnington. I've never been a fan of brass bands, but this has been really funny and quite interesting over the last few weeks.

Allan,........If you win all that money you can buy the mansion, and I'll come and work for you - but I'm not wearing that uniform of yours.

CC - Tut, tut - how dare you suggest that we are anything like 'common' people! We will have to train you better than that!

Tec - she could be my assistant - since I intend to do a lot of my work from the Meditteranean once we get the cruiser. CC could attend to urgent matters at the mansion while I'm away getting a tan.

I can't watch MPs on TV Linda, I tend to throw things at the tele, and I haven't had it long.

They are unbelievable Tec. Half of them are leaving after fiddling their expenses, but they still get a huge pay off.

Tecwyn

£65,000 I believe Linda,

and they say crime doesn't pay?

Berona,......If we get the cruiser, I'll be with you - the mansion can run itself.

The one good thing about Parliaments everywhere is that it relieves the overcrowding in prisons!!

We have a General Election here in a few weeks. For the first time I really don't feel inclined to waste my vote on any of them, though I know that is negative in a so called democracy.

I believe they now dictate by consent, in their own interests, not the country.

Am I correct that you have to vote in Oz?

Allan

Allan Report 22 Mar 2010 22:09

Yes voting is compulsory in State and Federal Elections, but in WA voting in local government elections isn't.

You're ON, Tec. You can be the skipper and you can bring the duchess with you. She and I will be sunning ourselves while you are at the helm! Great idea!
