Linda..... I hope they didn't send you on a mission impossible - unlike me.
I'm sure my ancestors give you nightmares lol - they do me.

Allan - It's against the T&C of the Brotherhood to have anyone in a skirt along - especially where we're likely to end up. I think it's an attempt by the Sisterhood to infiltrate......we're not that silly CC.

Good Morning Berona,.......Are you sparkling this morning?

Tec.

Goodnight Linda.

Despite having told my committee that I am now out of bounds I've already had two phone calls that have started with "just one thing before you go". The answering machine has now been put on.

Some people are just plain inconsiderate Sue - never mind, after tomorrow they can't get at you.

CC.....Can you carry a 75kg of kit on your back - and scale cliffs, swim across rivers, absail, sky dive, ride a camel?

Goodnight Linda, sleep well - keep warm.

Tec

SueMaid Report 5 Apr 2010 23:41

That was a nice thing to say, Allan - thank you.

It's annoying CC but I worry about family not reaching me if I leave the phone off the hook. If I put the answering machine on I can ignore it. Luckily no-one has my mobile number - that's strictly family only.

......or in fact given birth? Now you fellas just can't beat that one:-))

That's true CC - especially as I usually can't resist a ringing phone.

Me too Sue. When asked for my mobile number, I don't have one! Strictly for important calls only, and an answering machine at any time after five rings on the landline! By the time I get to it, I can hear who it is and decide whether to answer or not.

Tec - can YOU do all those things?

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 6 Apr 2010 00:02

No CC.
I've never waxed my legs, tweezered my eyebrows, coloured my hair, or given birth. But people would think I was strange if I did.

You asked about my GSOH - well I the weirdest SOH - including the urge to laugh at the most inappropriate moments.
I find humour in almost everything, including funerals. It can be very embarrassing at times. I am just a jackass really.

Well it's late, Must go to bed.
So enjoy your day everyone Down Under,
Sleep well Up Top,

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~to Diane,
Goodnight Tec.
Hi Folks
Sorry to but in but could you tell me what time it is in Perth at the moment.
Think I may have a contact name there and I don't want to phone at an unreasonable time. I have been trying to trace these family members since 2002 and my fingers keep hovering over the phone !!.
Love the thread by the way. Long may it continure.
Love and best wishes from a wet, windy and cold North Wales. xx
Thanks everyone for the time info. The contact is via a primary school ... when are your children back in school after Easter?.
I will give them my contact details and certain information so the family members will know it is me and not some other weirdo trying to contact them. My husband's cousin came to stay with us for a few days in 1997 and stayed for 18 months taking our best barmaid with him !! lol. By this time she had become a good friend.
Kept in touch until 2002 then it all went belly up in 2002 when we moved house.
Feel quite excited. So I will have to phone at 8am UK time or maybe 7am to be on the safe side? Better get to bed then because I need at least 3 mugs of coffee in the morning before I am capable of any coherent speech. lol
Sue, I'll try to get back on-line later on today, but just in case I don't I would like to wish you that you and your OH have a fantastic and relaxing cruise !
I promise that Tec and myself (possibly accompanied by CC) will not create too much mayhem in you absence :0))
Enjoy!
Libby, the kids are back at school on the 19th of April, but some schools have the first day back as a pupil free day for Teacher Professional Development.
Thank you Allan - I will truly miss you all while we're away.
Libby that all sounds very exciting - I hope it works out well for you. Pop in and say hello whenever you like. We love to see new faces. The old ones are getting a bit worn out:-)))
I must be off now. The house is empty for an hour or so and I'd like to wash the floors. Will pop on this evening hopefully but if not I will see you all when we get back. Stay safe and behave yourselves:-))
