Good evening, Tec

I think that the sisterhood is in disarray!

Arriving by helicopter!......a tad ostentatious methinks

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2010 23:07

Allan..........Their leader is missing......they are indeed in disarray, running about like headless chickens......not knowing what to do.

But let's not get fooled into false security, Berona will arrive just now weilding a big walking stick - get ready to duck.

Chickens.......Ducks.......what no pidgeons?

Goodnight Linda,
sleep well - keep warm.

It was a complicated sandwich!!

Allan

Allan Report 8 Apr 2010 23:11

What's a complicated sandwich, Tec?

Do you use compliments rather than condiments?

Allan

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2010 23:17

The complication was the indecision of the filling, shall I, won't I, yes I will, no I won't, yes I will.........etc, etc......and so on.

ended up being sliced beef and spring onion.

Deciding what's for dinner is something else here.

Tec, I think that most households are similar: at least mine is!

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2010 23:26

Because we live so far from the shops, we live out of the freezer, but frequently forget to defrost anything.

I think we need a nanny these days, a Swedish blonde nanny, with long legs.

Allan Report 8 Apr 2010 23:29

Tec, although close to shops we still have a freezer full of food as we tend to buy when things are on 'special' especially meat. We have a small chest freezer.

I suspect that the Duchess may carry out the interviews for the Nanny's position!

Knock, knock anyone home ??

Helllooooooo

I am back !!

Well I did ask for rain didn't I, not going to mention that again !! Lost internet connection for awhile there!!

Have been fairly busy at the moment its school holidays, so the house it looking like a war zone. Still working, still studying.

I haven't caught up with the posts as they would be quite a bit to read, so I hope everyone is going okay.

Keep smiling !!!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 8 Apr 2010 23:41

That wouldn't do at all Allan, we'd end up with some old dragon with a bad attitude - no I'll do the interviews - she would need a sense of humour to survive in this house.

Well I must away to my bed again - I think the Sisterhood have deserted.
Mother won't be amused.........

Goodnight Allan, Enjoy your day.

Lost power and the internet well don't get me started on that !! and now we go back to no rain (shush dont mention that word).

Ahh! Good morning Berona :0))

Janet, I know the feeling. Masssive leak in our front bedroom window. Going to be expensive!!

Berona Report 8 Apr 2010 23:55

I know I'm late - but I haven't adapted to the new time yet and then I had to catch up on to-day's posts.

CC - the results were good thanks, but if you missed my earlier post on it, you will probably miss this one too, as you seem to have retired for the night.

Janet - good to see you posting. You can send some of that rain over to the east if you like. We have had a few overnight showers and a little drizzle, but never enough to water my plant pots - so it's useless to us. Only problem for me is that we have gone so long without rain - why is it that recently, I have had a few appointments and THAT's when it rains! Not enough to be of any use - but enough to make me feel I have to carry an umbrella "in case".

Allan - I tried CC's suggestion but couldn't find the accents. Must have a different system from hers.

The are still shops that have not opened up since the storm, due to storm damage. For a couple of days after the shops were operating without power!
There were alot of stores throwing out frozen goods, just a waste, but they were not able to sell.

Was there much damage out your way?

Janetx

HI Berona

We have had the storm and no rain since...strange weather really!

Allan Report 9 Apr 2010 00:00

Janet, a few trees down, leaky roofs etc but although we had heavy rain and strong winds, the storm here was nowhere near as severe as in Perth.

We also missed out on the hail, thank goodness

We've had a couple of very light falls and one day recently I thought that the rain was here to stay but it cleared up after an hour.

Rain forecast for most days but never seems to arrive :0(
