I don't really have bruises Allan. I always feel miffed about that, I don't bruise easily and can get a very hard knock with nothing tangible to show for it, so I don't get any sympathy. It wasn't really the bruises which were the problem, it was the muscles being pulled, basically all down the right side of my body. As I got up, I could feel the pain across the top of my foot and in my calf muscle, but by the next morning, my shoulders, waist, ribs and triceps were all hurting. Turning over in bed was painful, but I did it on Thursday lunchtime, so I am much improved now just achy rather than in bad pain. |

Hello Sue, good to have you back. I need to go and do things, but I hate missing all of you. By the time you appear on my evenings, I am too tired to stay and need to go to bed |

No Allan, don't post it, the glass inside will get broken and we don't want Berona eating ground up glass. |

I think that I am a little too old for the navy Tec, plus I get sea sick even going over the channel. Oddly the only time I wasn't ill when it was really rough was when I taking a group of school children across. They were throwing up left right and centre and I was so busy looking after them, I didn' t have time to worry about myself |

Those cross channel ferries are Mickey Mouse ships - I think I would be ill on one of those. You need to take a trip on a proper ocean going liner. |

The potatoes and onions are in, plus broad beans and we still have leeks, garlic and Japanese onions which we planted at the end of the year. |

Hi, Linda. I too have Williams - from Wales - in OH's tree. I've done a bit with them and the 1901 Census did help a little in finding out who married who etc. but they've been a thorn in my side. My problem is going back further with my father's family. This is the first family I started researching and I just can't get past my 2 x great grandfather although I've succeeded with my 2 x great grandmother's family. I could tear my hair out at times. When we were in Leeds I did spend some time at the library and found out a little bit but not enough to take me further back - I ran out of time. |
