Good evening

It has taken me ages to catch upon all the posts and now I have forgotten most of them,so forgive me for not commenting on them.

I have been very tired for the last couple of days because the completion on mums house was today. it has been a very stressful time. A special thanks to the wonderful Tec, for his support.

I still have lots of things to sort out with the money, but am getting there slowly.

Hi Persey - looks like we could get some rain here too.

I really do need to stop reading other threads. I can feel the steam coming out of my ears. I'm sure people are putting up contentious threads deliberately to "stir the pot". Silly me - I just can't resist making a comment:-(

Hi Linda - we've missed you but thought you were busy with your mum's house. It must be emotionally draining too.

Good evening/morning all

Home at last!

The tanker is parked outside, discharging wine into my newly installed vat.:0))

What a week of contrasts! I stayed in fantastic self-catering accommodation. Two bedroomed unit in an old building,: there was a three seat leather sitting unit which had actually once been part of the old Legislative House of Representatives in WA. Very swish.

On the downside I was ready to comit murder by Friday. Although not contracted by the Council the staff were giving me directions as though I was. I was also being used by them to update their list of food manufacturers which I flatly refused to do as it was their resonsibility.

I also left with the distinct impression that no routine compliance inspections had been undertaken for quite sometime, as no one could precisely locate any of the smaller premises.

However, I did return with a very well reccomended Brie (ironically made in France), and a couple of venison steaks.

I hope that everyone is well.

I have not had time to read through all the posts since I was last on the Board so if I have blundered on through any major occurences, please forgive me

It is raining here as well Perse. I drove through a terrible cloud burst this morning, it was scary as I couldn't see anything. It was a fast dual carriageway, but everyone had slowed down to a crawl

Allan Report 30 Apr 2010 22:46

Thanks Linda

Sue at $100.00 a kilo I only managed a 100grm piece and that is staying under lock and key!

Besides, it has a very runny centre, and probably wouldn't travel well even if I used a two cent stamp :0))

Welcome Home Allan good to see you're back - the rest of you is not too bad either.

Hi Linda - trying times cleaning out after your parents have gone - I will send you my t-shirt hopefully I don't need it anymore as have done the routine three times. Missed not seeing you around yesterday - says she who is not always here.

Sue, I am like a moth to a flame when I see those threads. Think I should stay away as well and be like CC and stay on the one thread.
Oh well maybe a few others - like where Berona goes they are usually fairly safe and the tips board where I see Linda from time to time helping someone.

I used to spend all my time on Tips Perse, but since I was enticed here, I don't do anywhere near the amount of look ups I used to.

I do think Allan is being mean as well Sue

A wine and cheese party is definitely in order Allan - and with what I have read about Margaret River's wines - I will not need to bring my own.

In everyone's bad books - I can see your report card now trys hard but could do better if he did not let his mind wander and adopt a better attitude in the playground sharing with others.

Linda, I sent it as soon as you asked for a glass, but it is very volatile so must have evaporated

I believe that the Winery from which this particular vintage came is in discussion with NASA to prduce the next generation rocket fuel! :0))

Perhaps Linda's wine should have been sent in a large capsule and not in a crystal glass. Linda does have the best in crystal so she can decanter it upon arrival.
