Hello Everyone,

Welcome back Allan, we have missed your scintillating contributions to the thread - but the girls have been very kind, and didn't take advantage of me once - I'm sorry to say.

I have my glass in my hand - empty.

Hi Linda, Good to see you back - it rained all day here too, but good for the garden I suppose.

Perse, I like your return to the Tax Man - hopeless aren't they?

Some of you may have noticed that I never stray onto other threads - being a coward I prefer to stay in the safety of my own back yard - at least everyone is sane here, and I'm in the company of friends.

Tec.

I thought that it was good quality wine Allan not cheap Meths. Doesn't everyone drink out of crystal Perse?

Sane? are you sure about that Tec?

Allan Report 30 Apr 2010 23:13

Good evening Tec

I'm glad you've arrived: I seem to have quickly re-established my position as a mean spirited, non-sharing scrooge like person :0))

It's nice to have a reputation: even if it is a poor one!

Good Morning Sue,

I would like to see you at your yoga lesson - do you have to stick your left ankle somewhere up behind your right ear?

I am pleased that you are taking more control of your life, and spreading the workload a bit - also making more time for you - stick to it.

Tec.

Everything is relative Linda - some out there are barking!

Don't fret Allan, The Sisterhood are using terms of endearment, just to welcome you home. Should they shower you with affection you would be suspicious of their motives - I would.

Not everyone Linda - in fact we even have plastic drinking ware with the bananas in pyjamas etc on them. But for wine we definitely do - Got to be careful with you don't want you getting quilticated yet again.

Sooooooooooo - I have made a plunger coffee and your mug is on its way Linda... I even made one for you Diane... I do miss you and your contrtibutions at all hours. Ssshhhh Diane is probably asleep - she has been able to catch up on all those zzzzzzzzzzzz s now.

Sue in a yoga position - very transcendental - Persey in a yoga position - very dis contorted.

Not quite that flexible yet, Tec. I was surprised though at how easy I found most of the poses considering it's a few years since I did yoga. The young girl who took us for the class warmed us up very well so this morning I don't feel sore. The best bit was the relaxation session - I nearly fell asleep:-))

Perse, Can you make mine black, no sugar please, and a doughnut if you have one.

Sue, I have watched yoga, and it made me wince, it looks excrutiatingly painful to me. If I tried it, something would break I'm sure.

I can sit on the floor with the flat soles of my feet together and my knees touch the floor no problem. I used to do that at an exercise class and all the other mums would be trying to push their knees to the floor.

Tec
Do you want a cinnamon and sugar doughnut with a hole in it or a cream doughnut and if it is a cream one do you want a long one or a round one? Would you like jam with the cream or passion fruit?

I have never tried Yoga, but I know many people who have and they claim good things for it.

I wouldn't mind trying Tai-Chi (sp)

It's so much easier than working out at a gym. Because you move slowly it is so much gentler than lifting weights etc. Not that I'm having a go at gyms but they're not for me. The thing with yoga is that it's bone strengthening and that appeals to me.

Perse, Being a simple soul - a plain round good old fashioned jam doughnut would be nice. If you wish to indulge me, could it be slightly warmed, but not too much in case I burn my tongue on the jam.
Thankyou.

Goodnight,
Tec.
