A bit late I know, but goodnight to Tec

And have a great day Persey. Oh and by the way, I'll have a doughnut with a hole in it, but as I couldn't eat a full one, just send the hole :0))

Goodnight Tec - hope you and the Duchess sleep well.

Bye Perse. Thanks - you know why:-) Egg and bacon pie sounds lovely.

I must be off also. I need to do a few things before going to a craft fair.

Enjoy your day Allan - you deserve it after a busy week. Goodnight to our Brit friends.

CC, quit with the fancy sign-off names, they don't fool any one (although they are rather good!) :0))

I could organise the Council, but they wouldn't like it!

As for seine....a trip to Paris anyone?

Err.. a very indiscrete question, CC, do you sit in front of your computer naked??

Perhaps I should look away?

Hi, Imogen:-)) Just dropped in as I'm off out to babysit. No hardship - the littlies will be in bed and the older grandson will be off by 8:00. I'll take a book and read until I'm relieved of duty:-)) Talk tomorrow.

Hello all:-))

Ive just had the most amazing find on Family Search, they have updated their records:-))
Ive finally found my mothers parents marriage and the years of their births, plus their parents names were also mentioned. I am ecstatic!!!!!!!
Ive also found more of their families there as well, happy is an understatement:-)))))

Today was a beautiful day here, I took my young son and his friend to the movies this afternoon - we went to see 'Iron Man 2' not my sort of movie but the boys loved it. It had hunky Micky Rourke (sp) as the bad guy, he played a Russian - he played the part well!!

Carole, Granddaughter of Alejandrina and Raphael:-))
Such beautiful names:-)) xx

Hi there Allan, how are you and Mrs Allan?

Hi David, I don't know anything about Vodafone, sorry. Could I suggest you get your sister to contact Vodafone, I'm sure they will be able to assist you:-))

Berona

Berona Report 1 May 2010 12:22

Hello all. Welcome back Allan.
David - I can't help you either. Vodaphone is a well known name but I know nothing of what you ask. I agree with Carole - ask your sister to contact them for advice.

Just checking in before having another early night. I don't intend to continue taking tablets once the rash and itch have subsided, but whilst they are there, I'm making use of the tablets to have a long sleep and hopefully sleep the time away until I have my normal skin back.

Hope you all have/have had a lovely day.

Hi Berona,
Carole, That sounds really exciting about your find. I haven't done any tree work for a couple of months. I must get round to it.
Like Alan said nice names.
I'm going to have a roll and then do some ironing!

Good late afternoon everyone. I have just taken delivery of the new National burial index volume 3 discs,so I shall be playing with that for a while. I had volume 2, but there are lots more burials on this one. I know most of them are on Find my Past which I have a subscription too, but that is not searchable by village church which the discs are. if anyone wants any look ups, just ask

CC my Maypole dancing days are long gone

PatriciaAnn

PatriciaAnn Report 1 May 2010 18:30

Hi CC and Linda,
I've missed out on something! I've never danced around the maypole. I wouldn't wanted today. Too cold!

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 1 May 2010 21:45

Good Evening/Morning Everyone,

It rained here again for most of the day, and was also rather cool at 14 C.

However, that did not deter me from doing my thing dancing around the Maypole on the village green. Dressed for the part, feather in my hat, bells on my fingers, bells on my toes, bells on my garters, and a ring through my nose.
Strange - nobody else turned up, but I enjoyed myself.

CC. Whenever I have "spoken" to you on here I have always assumed that you would be respectably dressed - I wouldn't expect you to be in your very finest outfit, complete with hat, but would like to think a certain standard was being maintained.

Linda, Hope you are feeling a little less tired after your hectic week. The National Burial Index sounds interesting. If that includes Welsh village churches, I may take advantage of your kind offer and ask for a few look ups. I realise that you find Welsh things a torture, but I wouldn't be too cheeky.

Carole - That was exciting info you found on FamilySearch, and can understand how pleased you are. I think you once said that one side of your family were from Malta? that would account for those unusual and
great names. Hope that leads to greater finds.

Tec.

Hi everyone,
It was cold here as well. I wen to tthe launderette and did my ironing. I read as well. I put my fire back on. It was cold.
Unfortunately Leeds lost so it's going to be down to the last game of the season.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 1 May 2010 22:04

Hi Pat,
Sorry Leeds didn't do so well today - puts a lot of pressure on their match next week.
We have the heating on this evening as the house felt cold - supposed to be better tomorrow though.

Tec.

Good morning/evening to each and everyone.

It seems that the UK weather is being very fickle!

it is nice and mild in Australind at the moment, with a little rain.

Our peas and broad beans have germinated and are doing nicely at the moment. Broccoli and silver-beet are also in (they went in as seedlings) and we now just have to locate some kale seedlings.

Other crops will be planted sometime this week.
