Good Morning Sue, Hope you well, and it's a fine day.

Hi CC.........where are you off googling now?

Hi Perse, though I fear I've missed you again. Enjoy wherever you're off to.

Tec.

Hello Tec - what a terrifying experience. Did you know what the probable diagnosis was before you reached the hospital?

The phone sounds like my parents' first phone. It will be interesting to hear it ring.

Good morning/evening to all

Tec, funnily enough, after my PE I was put on warfarin but only for 12 months (that was also after a few days on Heparin)

As I'v said previously, apart from being nervous if I become short of breath, the only after effects is having to inject myself with clexane befoer any long flights: which from Perth means all of them!

Berona, keep up the good work and post when you can.

CC, I'm glad that you have found a new toy :0)) I have already visited all the old house that we lived in in the UK, including my childhood ones, some of which are still standing.

Greetings to Sue and Linda and I'm sure Linda that the only stocks you require are those in Blue Chip Companies :0))

Hi Sue, That wasn't a nice experience, and in hindsight I should have called an ambulance myself and not bothered with an incompetant GP.

I don't think the old phone will have a number memory do you? lol.

Good Morning Allan,

I think I'm on warfarin for life because of the previous history of heart attacks, now heart failure. Ready for the knackers yard LOL.

lol, Tec!

Hopefully it will be many years before you make that particular visit!

I hope the knackers yard is a long way off, Tec. You've still got our cruise to plan for. We do need a captain you know:-))

Allan Report 4 May 2010 22:41

Sue, with your recent experience under your belt, you can be Tec's Vice-Captain for the cruise :0))

That would be like an episode of "The Navy Lark" and "Round The Horne"
but you're much too young to remember that Sue.

There'll be no vice on my ship.

I can handle that Allan. However I quite fancy being a bartender. We did a martini making session - where unfortunately we had to drink 4 martinis - and I enjoyed it. I can make a pretty good cocktail too:-))

Good evening,

I am back from the cinema, I don't do the usherette bit Perse, I sell the tickets or the sweets and growl at noisy kids.

With my foot fetish, I was thinking about you again today. I walked into the town to the bank, only to be told i needed extra ID which they hadn't told me about on the phone. So I walked back home again and then back to the bank. I then banged my head on the wall (well I felt like it anyway) as it took them an hour to conclude my business. by the time I had walked home again, my foot was well and truly hurting

Linda, there are just some things that you can't bank on during the day :0))

Tec, Sue may be too youn to remamber those radio shows, but I'm not. Hilarious, both of them!!

I can't imagine you growling Linda, you being so sweet, quiet, and demure.
Sorry about your foot - why didn't you take the car?

They were hilarious Allan - I would enjoy listening to them again - I expect they're available on CD through BBC Publications.
I might look into that.

If you do listen to them again Tec, you may find that they are not as funny as you remember

CC for a long time I thought that a Br*th*l was a soup kitchen!

Allan

SueMaid Report 4 May 2010 23:07

That sometimes happens when watching old comedies. They had a run of the Carry On movies here for awhile and I couldn't bear to watch them. Love Thy Neighbour and a few others make me cringe now although I still love On the Buses. I can watch Dad's Army and 'Allo 'Allo over and over.

What made you realise it wasn't a soup kitchen, Allan:-))
