You really are crackers being up and about at this time Allan, no matter how much I loved wheelie bins, you would not catch me getting up so early

Parrots make such a mess.

We have the "Twenty-Eights" here and they not only eat the flowers but actually trim the branches as well.

They are also one of the few species that, when scavenging for seed etc on the Road, never fly away from vehicles but always towards them.

I've had to remove numerous carcases from the radiator of my car to prevent it overheating!

Good Morning Allan,
Good Evening Linda,and Pat.

Oh well - I didn't get the job......their loss.

We get lots of birds in the garden, sparrows, chaffinches, greenfinches, goldfinches, robins, blackbirds, doves, jasckdaws, and starlings. Also around we see buzzards, and the beautiful red kites.

Oh Tec, you mean I have to go back to being a cook instead of a jet setting Foreign Secretary

No you're not Allan - you're a creature of the early morning:-))

Having the bush behind us we often see a couple of kestrels hovering as they hunt. We've seen them swoop and fly off but not seen what they've caught. Mice I should think.

Just a quick 'hello' to all. I actually woke up feeling slightly less sore than usual. Can't sit still for long but hopefully on the mend. Progress has been much slower than I expected, but I won't let it get the better of me.
Hope you are all well.

Yes Linda, It's back to the kitchen for you I'm afraid.

Allan are you part of the dawn chorus, and do the neighbours mind.

CC. I also have a posh piano that was once my mother's who was a brilliant pianist - but now I want to get rid of it as it never gets played these days.
