Good morning Sue

Good evening CC and Tec

~~~~~ to Diane
I shall be modest about my broadcasting experiences. Suffice it to say I can not abide either hearing myself, or seeing myself, after my recordings. And to think that people have to look at me and hear that weird vouice all day long!
All I can say is that I'm glad that I'm on the inside, looking out
Goodnight CC - sleep tight. My FIL spoke with a Norf Lundun accent. OH's grandma was a true Cockney.
My nearly 4 yo grandson has become the new puppy's true master. He tell her off very sharply and she takes note. I was visiting for a little while on Wednesday afternoon and all we could hear was "No Bella - naughty dog. Go to your mat". And she did:-))
Goodnight CC, Sleep well.
Good Morning Allan,
I think you be far too modest. Some of the leading stars of Hollywood are on record as saying they can't bear to see or hear themselves on screen.
You could yet be talent spotted and whisked off to a glittering career on stage and screen........it's never too late.
Actually, you and Sue may be spotted together.
Tec.
Allan
Allan Report 27 May 2010 23:18
Tec, thank you for the compliment, but the only place I'm likely to be whisked off to is the Funny Farm.
Someone is going to need a very wide angled telescope to spot Sue and I together :0))
Allan
SueMaid Report 27 May 2010 23:23
I don't want to be spotted - I prefer stripes. It's highly unlikely we would be spotted together. I don't think we could live much further away and still be in Australia.
I could be on Rottnest Island Sue, or the Abrohlos Islands (sp)
Tecwyn Report 27 May 2010 23:42
Oh well - you're obviously both reluctant super stars, whether spotted or striped...........
Good Luck with the interview Sue - just don't break into song halfway through..........well yes, do if you feel like it.
I'm off to bed now, terribly tired for some reason - like old age.
Hello to Berona if you look in,
~~~~~~to Diane, hope you sleep better.
Goodnight,
Tec.

Goodnight Tec - I can assure you I won't be singing. Even if I wanted to I know I wouldn't be doing the cause any good:-))

I must be off also. Enjoy your day Allan and Berona if you look in. Goodnight Diane - you should be in bed NOW.

Hello all,

Tec: The juvenile birds ate doing just fine. OH is off to the auctions today to see what they have in TV sets. (me, I’d rather buy one with a guarantee but……. He’s paying for it) and I’m going in the opposite direction to Mareeba to visit a gal pal and her 1yr old. So the juveniles have been put into a large outdoor cage just outside the living room window which is not far from where they’ve been used to being for the last few weeks. Trying for familiar territory. I think they’ll be OK.

Today we are expecting 19c to 29c. Nice weather.

I'm late again and it looks like I've missed everyone.
I just wanted to add that I, too, have been on TV - many moons ago. In fact, it was in the early days of TV and was in black and white.

We attended the opening of our local Ambulance Station, so I was well dressed (in a white dress) and my son was in a full white outfit (he was a few months old).

We were on TV all right. Quite a few seconds front row and centre. However, the camera was across the road, so all we could see was a splash of white and two faces (too far away to be recognised too).

Just popped in to say Good Morning, or Good Evening, and to keep the thread somewhere near the surface.
Sue I hope you were a mega star on the radio.
Berona I'm pleased to know you were also a celebrity.
Pam, I hope the juveniles were still in their cage when you got home - did you get a tele?
CC. Your lovely garden has given me some ideas - what is that beautiful palm with the flowers?

Bye for now,
Tec.

Hello everyone:-)

We are on page 2, where are you all?

Tec, I do know of the Melbourne Footy Club. They are ninth on the AFL ladder at present, which isn't too bad for this time of year - I don't think they will make the finals, maybe next year:-)
I hadn't heard of Russell Robertson, so I googled him:-) He retired last year from the MFC. He is currently following a music career, I think. He can sing and play the guitar.
Why do you ask? Are you related? If so, Go the mighty demons!!!

Hello Tec and whoever else looks in.

CC's garden is lovely Tec and it's given me some ideas too:-)) I'd love to see your garden too Tec. Any chance of some photos?

My interview went very smoothly today. In fact it was made easy by the announcer because she was so easy to chat to and that's what it was - a chat. I was given a full half hour with music played in between the talking and I felt very relaxed. Yes you can all have my autograph:-))

I'm hoping for a nice relaxing weekend as I am running a volunteer training course for four days starting Monday. I really enjoy doing these courses but they are tiring. I get to meet some great people and by the end of the training they are very eager to start working. Not only that we have a lovely lady to do our morning teas and she makes fresh scones:-)) You can't get better than that.

Sue xx

Hello Carole - you posted at the same time as I did:-))
