I am just popping on quickly to say hello.
my daughters bump is very large.,so it is coming on nicely.

Tec, I too am worried in case the Duchess is planning to bump you off.

Speaking of funerals, when my husband went to a one for a friend from work, the friend had chosen "wish me luck as you wave me goodbye" for when the curtains closed.

It must be my magnetic personality, Sue.

As soon as I post everyone b***ers off.

Remember that magnets repel as well as attract! :0))

Oh good - you haven't gone off here yet!
Good evening, good morning and good night!
I've been here for a while, but as usual, I seem to be taking longer and longer to read the posts so that I can be up to date!

Hi Berona,
I just spotted you lurking in time, and I don't want you getting a complex with me scarpering off to bed as soon as you appear.
Did you read the Duchess's book choices - but as I've said before, she's been reading this stuff for year, and I'm still here, so she hasn't learnt much.

Tec

Berona

Berona Report 11 Jun 2010 23:58

Yes I did read them Tec, and that's my kind of literature! I would be burying myself in those books - any one or all of them! I like mystery, suspense, who dunnits.

Good night - hope you and the duchess sleep well.

Goodnight, or more correctly, Good Morning Berona,

I wish it wasn't so expensive to post, she'll be through them in no time, and they'll go off to the charity shop in new condition.

Goodnight.
Tec.

I haven't got that far yet. I come straight into this thread, but some of the posts are so long, it takes me ages to read them all.
You haven't been up to mischief again, have you?

Allan

Only on my joke thread. I'll nudge it up for you

Hello to all,

I love books, too. Got lots of them left to read from when I inherited my Dad's library some years ago. Hundreds and hundreds of books. I filled my car with the ones that interested me and donated the rest to his local library. He was quite a collector.

I love those forensic shows. Especially Bones. And it's off now and don't know if it's coming back. I've read all of Kathy Reich's books so I'm now in Bones withdrawal. Not a comfy place to be. Might just have to start watching NCIS instead.

Meanwhile, yesterday I bought a book ($7.99) written by Terri Irwin called My Steve. That was so sad that he died. I was very interested to read the forward from someone who knew him well. Professor Craig E. Franklin who used to go with Steve up to Lakeland Narional Park on croc research missions. The University of Queensland was about to appoint Steve as an Adjunct Professor " an honour bestowed on only a few who have made a significant contribution to their field". Steve never got to open the letter to advise him of that decision. What a shame.

Don't know if anyone is in here at the moment but I'll be back to check.

Cheers,
Pam.
