Tecwyn

I can see you in a big pink Cadillac CC.

I hope you didn't frighten the boyfriend, I wonder if he will come back?

Brave lad if he does.

Don't worry Tec, "poking" on Facebook isn't as drastic as it sounds

Actually they are related to pickled cucumbers

A dillo is a corruption of the word Armadillo and ther is nothing worse then a pickled dillo which has been armed.

Tecwyn Report 20 Jun 2010 22:50

Good Morning Allan,
Thanks for explaining the peccadilloes for me - fortunately we don't get many armed dillos around here.

CC ....I object to being described as a rumbunctious trifle.

I had to laugh yesterday.

Just before the evening news I was watching the AFL match between West Coast Eagles (one of our two State teams) and the Swans when one of the commentators started to complain that there were eight, EIGHT, pages in the sports section of our local Sunday paper given over to SOCCER!! his fellow commentators tried unsuccessfully to inform him that it is the world cup and does only happen once every four years.

His final comment: But eight pages!

I had a good laugh to myself

He may have a point Allan, World Cup or not - eight pages is rather a lot of coverage.

I don't think you are a trifle Tec, a jelly maybe.....

Allan

Allan Report 20 Jun 2010 23:00

I agree, Tec, but it covered all matches to date. He wouldn't have been complaining if it was eight pages relating to AFL, which it usually is every week of the season!

He may start to sponge off you :0))

Hello:-)) You lot are crazy - have I mentioned that before?

We have a pair of peccadilloes in the back yard and are hoping to see babies in Spring. Cute little things:-))

No-one is picking on you CC - so get over it:-))

Tec - hope you had a lovely Father's Day and all the OH's. Allan you have to wait till September.

I spent a morning doing some research triggered off by contact with a lady who had lost her research when her computer crashed. We were in contact a couple of years ago and I was able to send her our combined efforts. Once she had read it she sent me an email to say that she had found another branch descending from my 2 x great uncle. She remembered a couple of names and I was off and running with it. Unfortunately there were a couple of sad stories including 3 children lost in 14 months. Also an ancestor who was in the Leeds Infirmary in 1901 with two sons. She passed away but the children survived only to die in their 20's. I then searched on here and found someone who appeared to be a descendant of my great grandmother. I sent a message and received a very curt message back saying I couldn't possibly be a descendant as he knew the family including this lady's grandchildren so I should keep looking. I'm not convinced as she had an unusual name but what can you do?

I wouldn't want her for a relative Sue.

We are not crazy Sue, or at least I am not, it is just the rest of the world which is mad

Allan, I sent you another email, if you send the info, I will have a look for that tomorrow.

Tec I think we got away with picking on CC, Sue didn't seem to notice

Goodnight.
