Good Evening CC,

I bet I can fill an empty space quicker than you.

I expect our friends Down Under are just about getting up, except for Allan who will be out walking and chatting up Wheelie Bins.

Good evening CC, I am not a hoarder, but it will be nice to be able to use the cupboard.

It was a singularly stupid place to put the tank Tec, I live in a group of six houses, all built by the same builder, but each one is an individual design, Four of them have a normal upstairs airing cupboard, but two don't. Where to put the tank was obviously an after thought.

The shame is that we had only redone the kitchen and utility room a couple of years ago,so having a problem with the tiles is annoying

Good morning/evening everyone. It was so nice and warm in bed I didn't want to get up but I didn't want to miss chatting to you all.

Tec - a nice long gin and tonic is in order. I'll remember your offer as painter and decorator. I only said to my OH the other day that I thought a couple of rooms needed a fresh coat of paint and he went pale and had to sit down. His least favourite job:-) He doesn't mind the actual painting it's the preparation he dislikes.

It's a dull cold morning here. With the miserable weather comes all the sniffles and coughs. My daughter came for a visit yesterday and the children all have runny noses and are not their usual self. I don't like seeing the little ones ill.

When we had our kitchen and bathroom renovated we bought an extra box of the wall and floor tiles. Knowing our luck we would need them one day and the tiles become obsolete so quickly. We are tempted to use some of the tiles in the laundry which badly needs renovating.

CC - I take it that cinnamon helps boost their immune systems? I'll mention it to my daughter - I know she uses it when she makes them cinnamon toast which they love. Her fiance is very clever at getting various veggies into them without them realising at times. They love pasta so he has made up a tomato sauce with all sorts of good stuff and they love it. It annoys my daughter that the little ones will eat anything they are given at nursery yet turn up their noses when she cooks the same for them.

Yes CC - it came through loud and clear:-)) Thank you. I've just had a phone call from my daughter to ask if I can have the eldest today. He's not well enough for school. I'll play him Ernie and he'll love it.

I have been digging around Sue, but I can't get any further, I think they were hiding from the rent man lol.

It is time I was off to my bed, I just can't do late nights. Play nicely.

Good Morning Sue,
I'm happy to come over to do the decorating, but it's the thought of boarding the plane at Heathrow with buckets, ladders, paints etc that puts me off.
I enjoyed my large G&T thankyou.

Linda, these house builders are stupid sometimes. My daughter recently had problems with the drains. Everytime she used the washing machine she had a flood on the yard. They tried to clear the blockage themselves, unsuccessfully, so called Dyna-Rod to do it, which was expensive. They cleared the blockage, but in so doing discovered that the developer had routed the foul water drain into the storm drain in the road. This is totally illegal, so now they have to have the yard dug up in order to route the foul water to the correct drain. As the developer went bankrupt, there is no chance of redress.

Playing nicely is no fun. Sleep tight, Linda and thanks again. I think they were all in jail:-)

Your second email came through fine too CC - I haven't heard that song for years. Thank you.

Good morning/evening all

I'm late on this morning as it seems that I am a popular Guy. Heaps of pms to which I have now responded.

Berona, I didn't know the words to the song, but I gooled it. When I saw thw the song had also been recorded by Joe Loss and his Orchestra I thought that it may be the correct one.

The original was done by Sam Browne.

CC I've had my quota of serious for this year so its now back to the stupid and inane.

Oh Allan - put that chainsaw away tut tut. Your lovely OH will have a fit if she knows you're playing with chainsaws.

Tec - I feel quite nervous about the Aussies playing Serbia but as long as they give us an exciting game to watch I'm happy. I wouldn't be happy with the shenanigans of the French team. I wonder how they'll be received when they get home - spoilsports. By the way - we'll supply the ladders, buckets etc. You can sleep out in the shed and there'll be hot soup and crusty breadrolls to keep you warm.

Good Morning Allan,

Hope you are in the pink this morning - do be careful throwing that chainsaw about - I bet the moggies have run for their lives.

CC. It is possible that my daughter could claim on insurance, but I have such little faith in the integrity of insurance companies, I'm sure they would wriggle out of it somehow, and as you say, there is the increased premiums to consider.

Of course I'm in the pink: I misjudged catching the chainsaw: once the blood seeps through the bandages I'll be in the red!! :o))

Sue, they can probably not get a word in sideways !
