Linda, it is on its way.

For some reason I was unable to attach the file to a new email so I have forwarded the previous one to you. If it doesn't work, please let me know and I will try again.

OK,I have sent a picture to Carole and to CC, a different one this time.
I have also sent the second picture to Allan, Tec, Berona, Sue and ... I have forgotten. If I have missed anyone out, just tell me. We will be going down to see her on the last weekend of this month,so I will have some more pictures then.

Linda, thank you for the pic :0))

Eve looks very content and is certainly a delightful baby.

The slide show worked fine Allan, very profound. I am very impressed by your piano playing

She certainly qualifies as chubby cheeks. I suppose the sucking muscles get well developed in a baby.

Linda - I received the second issue of Eve. Already, she seems to have changed and has the kind of features that would make me say that she is very definitely like someone in the family. Am I right? Not knowing any of you, I can't say who, but as most babies all look very similar (they're all beautiful to me), I feel that she is developing her unique features already. She certainly doesn't look like she was an early arrival. She will probably go ahead by leaps and bounds - hope she does!

CC - Me a late owl? Do you mean late waking up? Yes I have been for a while but hope I am slowly getting back to normal.
If you mean I am up late - where do you think I am? It's only 9:10pm here at the moment.

It is difficult to say who she looks like Berona. OH thought that she looked like her daddy, but on certain photo's there is a likeness to my daughter, we shall have to wait and see.

Allan, what is batching?

Berona

Berona Report 16 Jul 2010 12:14

Allan batching? I'm sure he will tell you all about it, Linda.

Watch it, Linda. When a man tells a woman he is baching, he is usually hinting for help. It wouldn't surprise me if he wants some of that jam you are making.

Thank you Linda for the photo of baby Eve, she is just soooo cute.
You probably looked like that once!

I have a small photo of me at 3 months - looks like Winston Churchill, minus the cigar.

Good evening CC and Tec,
See, I don't ignore you CC

I was a baby once Tec, and naturally I was cute, or so my mum thought.

GoodEvening CC............

It is much quieter here this evening. Last night we had a dreadful storm. Gale force winds, storm force 10, 80 - 90 mph for over five hours. Many cars crushed under fallen trees, and lots of boats ripped off their moorings in Porthmadog Harbour, some sunk or had their masts broken.
1500 houses had no power on Anglesey and around Caernarfon. The Harbour Master at Porthmadog said on tv that he had never witnessed such a ferocious wind, even in winter.
I actually thought the windows were coming in at around 1 am.
Fortunately we had no damage, except for some tubs turned over in the garden.
The storm had abated by dawn, and today has been quite nice, just a few heavy showers.

Good morning/evening everyone - I hope you are all well.

We drove our son to the airport yesterday:-( We've all enjoyed the visit so much especially the children. He rang when he arrived home and said that he would love to move back to where we are but it's just not possible at the moment.

A follow on about the young man down the road. I spoke to his mother without asking any questions - just let her know that we were aware there was an upset and to please let us know if we could help. She told me that her boy had a nervous breakdown. He is a junior criminal lawyer in a small firm and apparently was involved in a nasty case. He received some death threats which he handled very well at the time but is now suffering the effects. She asked if OH and I would visit him when he comes home from hospital and I said we would be happy to. Let's hope a stay in hospital and some tender loving care brings this clever young man back to good health.

Allan the PP presentation you sent me was great. It worked fine for me after pressing F5. How well it illustrated the journey of life. Together with CC's poem it certainly made me think about various "passengers" who have joined me on my journey - many still here but some have left.

Linda - your little girl is a joy.

I have a photo of my children on Porthmadog beach Tec
I am glad that you suffered no damage. It has been very windy here today, but it has died down tonight.
I drove up to the cemetery today to tend to the grave, the car was being buffeted all over the place . It would have been dads birthday yesterday. I couldn't go yesterday as OH needed the car all day.

Good Evening Linda,

I'm sure you were a cute baby Linda - can't say I would ever have been described as cute, but I'm sure I didn't always look like this - old and haggard lol.

Hello Tec - how awful. I'm glad your safe and no real damage has been done to your area. Dreadful for the owners of the cars and boats.

Linda - of course you were cute....still are with your toothless smile, bald head and chubby cheeks:-))

I am glad you managed to speak to your neighbour Sue, it is so sad to haer what has happened to her son. Hopefully his firm will treat him well and support him.
It would be lovely for you if your son could move back near you, mine are both at the other end of the country, so it is difficult to see them regularly
