I know I'm late again, but I think you all read from where you left off - I just want to be sure Allan saw my thanks for the photos of his backyard project.

Sue - the young man is only typical of people who get involved with crime/tragedy, etc. within their work. It must affect them at times. Hope he will get back to normal soon and time will teach him how to put those cases behind him.

Hello Berona, although you are probably out enjoying another sunny day by now. Hello Cusp, you should be asleep (I know ... ) Your posts always make me smile. I don't have quite the same problems with utility bills. My electricity, water & sewerage rates and phone bills are all on a direct debit arrangement, where they take the bill amount directly from my account.
Hello to everyone else when you return. Catch you later.

Well the last of the dancing girls are about to leave, the booze has to be replaced and the empties disposed of!

Berona I did receive your thanks for the photos :0))

CC the choir tour all roun the south west singing at the different Parish Churches. Their next trip is to Albany and as the members have to find their own accommodation for that trip, I am also going. Usually the choir stay in communal accommodation if available.

Good evening CC,

I've never heard of an Albizia before!

Alabany, being a big tourist destination has slendid accommodation of all shapes, sizes and tarrifs :0))

As I said in an earlier post, it is next on my favourites list, after Fremantle.

As for Christmas being early, we may have a 'Christmas in July' next weekend.

GoodMorning Sue, and Allan,

The thread is very bare this evening/morning.

I had a very busy day. Some time ago I broke up a concrete path the length of my garden. Huge chunks of concrete four inches deep. It has sat in a heap for months. Today I had a skip delivered, and my farmer friend arived with his tractor, with bucket attached, and helped me get it up to the skip that was 100 yards away on the road. So what was becoming a permanent feature, is now all gone - whoopee!

Allan, I expect you are busy flitting about with the feather duster, and filling the recycle box with wine bottles :)) HopeMrs Allan had an enjoyable time.

Sue enjoy the sunshine - I hear you have a General Election to look forward to.

Well I have only had half a bottle, but spread over a whole evening.
I have been to a "Picnic in the Park". Or to be technically correct, a picnic in the grounds of the large Hall right next to my house. They had various musical turns, the main one being a Beatles tribute band called Backbeat Beatles, they were very good. The event finished with a superb fireworks display. The fireworks are let off right over our house. we didn't go to the event last year, but we went out for the fireworks and it as like being right inside the display. The spent rockets bouncing off the roof tiles were a bit disconcerting though. We will go out and pick them up from the garden tomorrow.
