Thanks Allan - look forward to that.

CC.....I can't wear shorts because I have an ulcer on my left ankle for many years, caused by a DVT - never worn sandals or trainers, and if we had a SainsCo anywhere near, then I would of course shop in my dinner suit.
Yes - you do see some sights that make you wince I agre.

Goodnight Tec - sleep tight.

Wow - not a bad price, Allan. There are very ordinary houses in suburbs here for more than that. It looks very nice.

I must be off Allan as I've got a busy day ahead. Enjoy your day - I'm glad your OH enjoyed her trip and arrived home safe and sound.

Hello all, Well, another batch of work time over and now it's time to start my packing to go to Sydney for a couple of weeks to visit family and try to sort out my brother. Who, by the way, is now out of intensive care but still in hospital. It's been a wake up call to me because I don't know if he's got a will, a power of attorney or any of that stuff. So I plan to find out when I get there.

Packing for Sydney is going to be interesting. I just checked out weather forecast for the next couple of days and its around low of 19c to high 27c. Sydney? Where I'll be staying is forecasting 0c to 19c. Betcha if I pack all the winter woolies it will warm up. So, layer dressing will be the order of the day.

Hope all are well and happy. Don't know if I"ll still be around when others come in but I'll be trying to look in from time to time. It's only 4am so I may go back to bed soon.

cheers
Pam.

Hi Pam - pack winter woolies cos it's still cold at night. It was lovely on Sunday - 20 degs. but it's cooled down again.

I'm glad your brother is out of intensive care - I hope he continues to improve.

I'm electioned out too. I just want to slap Abbot and Gillard:-))

Surprise! I'm up early for a change. Only because I awoke early and tried to read, but the pillows kept rubbing on the sore part of my skin - so I took the lesser of two evils.

Pam - what part of Sydney will you be staying in? Take no notice of forecast for high temps - allow for them being between 15 and 18 with cold mornings and colder nights - and colder if we get any rain. Any high temps will be short-lived and rare.

Good morning to Berona, Pam and Sue.

I wont be on for long today. I started cataloguing my photos yesterday and they are scattered all over the lounge floor. I hadn't realised that I had so many, so I am also 'culling' them.

Some of the early Aussie ones are from the days of pay for one set and get another one free.

I also want to make some 'brawn' for tomorrow's lunch and we have someone coming round at 9.00 am thismorning to do some repairs to the upstairs windows!

Good morning Allan. How are the wheelie bins to-day?

I thought of you this morning when I awoke at 4am. As I lay there enjoying the warmth of my cosy bed, I thought of you out on your healthy walk.
And I still think you're crazy!

Allan

Allan Report 19 Jul 2010 22:37

lol Berona: not crazy, just a bit deranged, like Tecs Wheelie bins the other morning after the storm :0))
