Wouldn't you know it? Each day, I get here in time (sometimes not even in time) to say goodnight to Linda. |

Our Council (Harvey Shire) will not provide us with a bulk rubbish collection, which we find frustrating as all the surrounding Councils provide such a service! |

Our big cleanup is on now. We had to have the goods out by Sunday night - most of which has disappeared into the back of utes, boots, etc. They drive around all day looking for stuff. |

We don't have a free bulk refuse collection. We are "allowed" to have four bulky items collected in a year, all at one time, and we pay £20 to the Council |

Years ago my father noticed two lovely cane chairs on the footpath. He asked if he could take them (he was a very courteous man). Mum wasn't too pleased but he fixed them up and I made new cushions for them. Mum still has them although I think they're uncomfortable. It's amazing what people throw out. |

There is a scheme in many parts of the UK called "Freecycle" on the internet. If you have something in good condition that you no longer want, you post it in your area on FreeCycle and people can collect it if they want it. |

Allan, I suspect that if the bike had been left out by mistake, it may have disappeared in no time lol. |
