Twins separated at birth Amanda:-)) Some of our native shrubs have wonderful flowers that looked good even after they die.

Here's a site you all may like to look at. Just click on the various plants on the list on the left side of the page.

Thanks Amanda, but I don't think that the others here will thank you for encouraging me!! :0))

Diane, I know that you know where I am from, but Dianne wouldn't know, as far as I know.

I think that i had better consult Dr. Know.

CC I think that someone has been 'lacing' your drink!!

Yes Sue .....Rum is the order of the day ....it is Friday night you know : ))

CC some stones have lovely "faults" in them that cause the prism and it is indeed like looking into an open fire and seeing the " caves " .

In particular - if you look at the above site - click on the banksias. They are a spectacular group of plants and there flowers look almost as good when they die.

Tec - I'm the one having difficulty getting a word in:-)) This thread is moving so fast but I love it.

Diane - I'll bring you a stone when we visit the UK.

My dad always called gooseberries goosegogs.

CC - I didn't notice the names of any suppliers. Lovely photos arent' they. I have several grevilleas in the garden and the birds they attract keep me amused for ages. All have long beaks to drink the nectar.

No Diane, you did not insult me. You have been the model and exemplar of good behaviour.

I'm afraid it was CC who wishes to blame me for the short comings of our Postal System!

Thank your liucky stars that you don't have them Diane.

I once had Kidney stones and it was the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. On the upside I did get to fly with the Fying Doctor Service to Kalgoorlie.
