LOL Linda.............I only went the once . Out into the North sea .....straight into a squall . OH was loving it , all mad fire in his eyes !!

Apparently I went grey ....I felt as if all the blood had left my body and was literally paralyzed with fear ............it was not an experience that I wish to ever repeat ...........lol

Amanda, The noise from the gulls seems to be worse when the birds are nesting, they scream at anything that comes near. Just now there are lots of young jackdaws, so they are noisy to, but it comes with the territory. I rather that than traffic noise etc.

Diane, My OH has tried changing me for something better but no one does part exchange around here lol

Amanda, perhaps we could all get together on your yacht for the world cruise that we have been planning for such a long time.

Supplies may be a bit tight, but I'm sure that if we all bought a packed lunch we could lurch from port to port :0))

Amanda2003 Report 24 Jul 2010 23:31

Sounds like a plan Allan ...........she isn't very big though and I for one am not sleeping down the " bogey " hole .........lol
We have got a little blow up dingy and an emergency life raft which could possibly act as spare space , depending on how many folk want to come on this cruise of a lifetime ............lol

Tec....you have a good point there . I wish I could hear natures noises more than mankind's : (

Good Morning Sue,

8 o'clock is early enough on Sunday morning,

Tec.

Diane Report 24 Jul 2010 23:33

Me too Amanda as my job is a Carer and it will be hard to do it when my back is bad.

Tec I have only been on a boat over to Ireland and the Isle-of-man and as you probably know the Irish Sea can be a terrible crossing. I have had 2 bad crossing's across and they were enough for me, mind you I have alway's fancied going on a cruise ship but I believe they handle the sea a lot better than Ferry's

Sorry Linda you left while I was posting, goodnight sweet dream's.
