Good Morning / Evening Everyone,

I've heard about these Magic Mushrooms - you naughty people!

Today I was eaten by a mattress.......

Stripped the bed, and decided to "turn" the mattress - a very heavy, deep pocket sprung animal.

Got it on its edge, as it were, went round the other side of the bed while still holding on to wobbly mattress - than - lost my grip - and it fell on me, knocking me over - I am now underneath - can't get out sideways as there was no room because of OHs dressing table.

Voice from bottom of the stairs "What are you playing at up there".

I reply, rather crossly, "I'm not playing at anything - I'm trapped underneath the bl**dy mattrress"

"Well don't be long - I've made a sandwich"

Domestic bliss on Monday morning.......

Tec.

Tec - that's the funniest story I've heard in awhile:-))) I have a vision which I hope doesn't pop into my head at inopportune moments.

Hi Diane - I'm well thank you. I guess your job isn't good for bad backs:-(

Allan - we paid around $15 at Bunnings for our last mushroom kit. We paid $20 at a garden centre for a kit but they're bound to be more expensive a centre.

Thanks, Sue,

For some reason, we always assume that we are paying more for things in the West due to our isolation!

Diane - No I didn't see the ship on the news - I think it must have been on your North West Regional news - though I know she is a huge ship.

I see someone sailed into Sydney Harbour in a boat made of plastic bottles - wonder if they would lend it to us for the cruise?

Amanda, I did manage to get out, only my dignity was ruffled, so I did get my sandwich eventually.

No chance of sleeping on the job here - good joke by the way.

"fun guy" - very funny Allan:-))

I think Tec is still under the mattress - not having told us how he escaped.

Amanda - did you like my garden photos on FB?

I love the Knock Knock jokes that my 4 y.o. grandson comes out with. He just doesn't understand the concept and frequently answers "it's me, Grandma" when I ask "who's there".

I had a surprise phone call from my daughter's eldest boy yesterday who counted to ten in Spanish "like Dora the Explorer". He even had the pronunciation just right. When I asked my daughter if he learned it at school she said he had picked it up watching the show. He can also say "hello" and "goodbye" in Spanish.

Sue - I crawled out backwards, in a most undignified way - When I eventually got downstairs, OH looked at me hard, and said "Have you combed you hair today - it's very untidy"

I didn't answer - just ate my sandwich, and thought my own thoughts.

Tec,

That boat that came into Sydney Harbour was made from totally recycled and recyclable materials.

The boat was going to be dismantled, and recycled, but the sponsors have decided to do a couple of more trips with it.

Hello Sue ....I hadn't seen them but I have now and left a few comments . How come YOUR grass is greener ? ....lol

On the subject of knock knock jokes , my granddaughter ( Daisy ) got me a good one the other day . Totally out of the blue , she turned to me and said " Nanny will you ever forget me ? " .....it quite took me aback and I answered " No my love !! , of course I won't , not ever " ....then she said " Knock knock " ......my automatic reaction was of course ( and bang on cue ) " who's there ? " ......" see " she said ..." you've forgotton me already ! "...............little devil laughed like a drain she did ......lol
