Hello Persie :-D I hadn't realised your daughter was having a baby as well . I expect August is looking forwards to the new arrival . I hope that all goes well with the birth <3 The circle of life keeps on going as you say , departings and arrivals .
I feel blessed to have know Berona , even if it was just in the confines of this place .

Sounds more like an assault course than hurdles .

The Duchess is a saggitarious sp as well.

Well I'd better get to bed, as I have to be up early to let Milo out.

Have a good day Sue, and Persie

Sleep well Amanda,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

All these Christmas Babies, as one life departs another one enters. My daughter is due on the 10th and she seems to be hanging on. Last time with August finished work one day and then was in hospital two days later and there for several days before she was induced.. they had to deliver him early and she certainly was put through the hoops so this time is just that bit more relaxing if there is such a thing when you are near term.

Thank you Sue, I met Berona on here first and then found her on the Greaders as well and I used to interrupt Home and Away from time to time and I didn't even watch it. I would look it up in the TV guide which was a big help since we were several months behind Aussie in the episodes.

Have a good night up top, a good day to Huia, Carole and Sue ... and whatever time it is for you Sylvia enjoy your coffee you are bound to be going out for one.. :-) :-) :-)

Thank you for those who popped on here in memory of Berona..

Good evening Tec .
I know those pots had become a real task for the dear lady , I think I shall imagine her now in a beautiful heavenly garden , that doesn't need any weeding or watering <3

My daughters are both well , thank you , Rachael had us on our toes last week , she kept thinking her labour had begun but things have quietened down again . Her baby is due any day really ( should be the 16th ) . It is her husbands birthday today and tomorrow is my OHs birthday , the 14th it's my sons girlfriends and the 18th is Rachaels , I'm sure that the new baby will slot herself in somewhere amoungst the " birthday hurdles ) :-D
Megan is already almost as round as her sister :-0 Still plodding along at work ( but thankfully only two shifts a week ) , everything is looking good with the twins .

The Grandchildren are all getting very excited about the thought of Christmas , I had better get my decorations out of the loft soon :-0

Hello Amanda - all our memories of Berona are keeping her close. Thankfully that is what her family will have to get them through.

Hello Amanda,

We are all sad today, and I'm sure Berona would have something to say about that if she could.
I am just so glad that she didn't suffer for long, and was I assume, at home.

Those pots were a real chore to her in hot weather, but she was determined to keep them going even though she struggled.
Berona missed her garden at her previous home very much. Such a shame she didn't have one.

I hope that you and your daughter's are well. Expect everyone is excited about Christmas. Lovely time for the children.

Hello dear ones <3

I was so sad when I logged on and saw the news about our dear Berona . It will be a very difficult time for her children and Grand children to get though . It must be an awful shock for them all .
She was such a bright and cheerful character , her love of life and humour always shone though her words . She will be most sadly missed :-( <3

I thought of her pots and the diligant watering , I have always had her in my mind as I water my pots in the summer time . I'm sure I will think of her often .

Thank you. <3

Persie - We had such a laugh by e-mail about dancing our tango. Her leaning on her walker, and me on one leg - she had me in fits of laughter, such a sense of humour. Oh dear I will miss her.

The knitted multi-coloured night caps were another laugh, especially the one with the attached scarf.

Seriously, I also feel very sorry for her daughter and her sad return home from her holiday.

Hi there Di, thought of you too last night and then realised you would see the message on FB from her son.

She was always there with her concerns for your health, as we all are.

Look after your self Liverpool lass.

I too was looking at her FB timeline this morning..

She was such a lovely lady and I am sorry she never got to meet up with Tec and dance a Tango or two.. and then there was all the internet knitting she did for him as well.

She was on my list of people (but of course) to visit in Oz.. I know my OH would have liked her immensely and been amused by her little quips etc.

When I read the message last night on FB there were tears and then I thought oh her poor daughter having to return and find her mother gone. I was telling himself about Berona before I went to bed.

I shall miss her immensely,

Aroha nui

Thanks for passing on Diane's message Sue,

Hello Diane :-)

Berona was a good friend to us all, on the thread, and behind the scenes. She sent me a very heart warming and touching e-mail when I returned from hospital in March.
I hope that you are well Diane - take care.

We are just having an almighty hail storm. The noise as it hits the windows is incredible.
I hope it stops before I have to let Milo out - don't want him going to bed a soggy dog
