Am glad you were beside yourself with glee and the Duchess. I am always pleased when we beat South Africa, France, The Lions, and the Aussies. I do wish Scotland would do better some times..

You going for a ride on the train Tec?

Hi everyone

we had the "s" word last night :-(

1-2 cm of it

It is still below 0C at almost 1 pm

What a change ............. from 24/15C on Wednesday and Thursday to around -2C last night

This morning, the sun is shining brighhtly, and the snow is glistening ............ looks gorgeous

................. from inside :-)

OH has gone off to do some of our Christmas shopping ............... buying some calendars, 4 or 5 special Christmas cards, and a 6 year old b'day card

He's having to do it all himself as I'm still under the "walk as little as possible" order ..........................

but we did go out for coffee this morning, and met our friends.

Tec ..............

so glad you had a nice afternoon with the Duchess

what was the rugby score???

Christmas Lunch? not even December yet - how strange these Aussies are :-D
It's being upside down that does it. :-D

Linda - You will never guess in a million years where I may be going for lunch tomorrow? :-D :-D :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 29 Nov 2014 20:50

You can't go for a Christmas lunch in November, that is silly

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 29 Nov 2014 20:46

We weren't bored for long - we took Maisie down to the lake for a walk and chatted to other dog walkers along the way :-)

Today we go to the infamous "Christmas Lunch". I'm quite looking forward to it now that I'm no longer responsible for it :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 29 Nov 2014 20:37

Good morning Sue, I am sure you could have cleaned some windows to relieve your boredom

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 29 Nov 2014 20:34

Good Morning Sue,

How could you be bored? :-D you could always have played scrabble, or monopoly :-D.
I can't imagine you two being bored :-D

Linda it was so nice here for late November it would have been a crime to stay indoors - so yes I would even have missed the rugby.

I could have had it on radio in the garden :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 29 Nov 2014 20:30

Hello you two :-)

What a contrast in weather - pleasant in Wales and miserable in Yorkshire. Sounds like Australia :-)

We had a lazy day yesterday but by mid afternoon we were bored :-(

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 29 Nov 2014 20:30

You mean you would have gone out into the garden and missed the rugby?
