No wonder it is difficult to get him to come to paint walls

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Nov 2014 23:02

He is a nice man really - just a little strange.

other jobs he does include...........

being a clown on stilts at music festivals?

Appearing at art festivals as a living statue?

He has such a fun life - I'm jealous :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Nov 2014 22:59

I will look forward to tomorrows installment, assuming he turns up

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Nov 2014 22:56

In between coffee breaks, he paints the walls.

As coffee is taken in the kitchen, I have to listen :-|

Lol, you don't need to stay in the room with him tec, I should tell him you need to go and have a lie down to rest your leg

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 7 Nov 2014 22:53

Maybe he's right, Tec :-0

Conspiracy theories of a decorator...........

First World Order,
Controlled by the Free Masons of America, who manipulate all world leaders, including Ed Milliband - well that's not difficult to believe .

Genetically modified food is poisoning everyone, causing obesity and affecting peoples brains to make it easier to control us.

They are using mobile phones to scramble our brains furthering control of the masses

These are just a selection of weird and wonderful statements.

I shall be so glad when that room is finished :-D

I was wondering that too, Linda. My brother works with a man who is apparently full of conspiracy theories - my brother said he is quite entertaining at times.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Nov 2014 22:44

Thank you Linda,

I am happy for Hamish, and for Dougal :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Nov 2014 22:43

What conspiracy theories does the decorator believe in?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 7 Nov 2014 22:42

So Linda......what your saying is..... :-D

Tecwyn Report 7 Nov 2014 22:41

I hope the people take to their new dog, she is a cute little thing, very obedient, but very busy.
I suspect poor old Milo was glad to see the back of her, so that he can have some peace :-D

Sue it is difficult to cope with that form of illness.
As much as I love to visit the Duchess, my heart sinks every time I arrive there.

My brother is visiting tomorrow - can't wait for him to meet the decorator - he is rather eccentric - the decorator that is, not my brother - although on second thoughts :-D

Sorry I confused you with the dogs Tec

The neighbours mother had four dog siblings. Hamish, Dougal, Freya and Poppy
When my neighbour got married and left her mothers home, she took Poppy with her, leaving her mother with the other three dogs.

Freya died first. Poppy who lived next door died a couple of weeks ago. Hamish one of the mothers dogs has gone blind and senile and has started trying to attack Dougal, so Dougal has come to live next door to replace Poppy. Hamish is apparently much happier on his own

Phew

Yes it is good that she can still remember things we did, but you never know what she will say, and have to be so quick with an answer.
Like today, I find it hard to make promises that I know I can't keep and will never happen.
I know that next time I visit she will have forgotten all about it.

Hello Tec - a busy day for you. I do hope the little dog settles into her new home. She deserves to live a good life with nice people.

It must be upsetting when the Duchess talks about 'special' places and moments :-( My father often thought one of the nurses was his mother coming to take him home. It was awful :-(

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Nov 2014 22:28

Oh dear, I am sorry the Duchess was upset, but it is nice that she still has memories of happy times

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Nov 2014 22:24

No different from any other day.

I wonder where Tec is, maybe he is watching his paint dry

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Nov 2014 22:23

Good Morning Sue,
I think that you needs to go back to bed :-D

Linda,
I became somewhat confused trying to follow the relationship of all the dogs :-D
It seems that Dougal is a surviver and now living with your neighbour - I think.

The most recent dog at Sue's went off to her potential forever home today in Caernarfon on a two week trial.
Sue had reservations :-(

My decorator turned up at 12 noon, as against 10am. Disappeared at 2pm to cut a tree down? returned at 2-45pm, and worked till 3-3pm.
He has given three walls a first coat, and has said he will work a whole day tomorrow - really? we shall see.
I was warned that he is good at what he does, if you can put up with it.
He is seriously into conspiracy theories :-D

As soon as he left I rushed off to see the Duchess. Sue had also returned to collect Milo.
The Duchess was well.
Though at one time she asked me if I remember somewhere that was a special place to us. On the mountain near her home village there is a river we often visited to sit by a waterfall. A lovely quiet spot.
She asked if I could take her there, and then she cried quietly.
It did upset me a bit, but I tried hard not to show it.
You never know what she is thinking about sometimes
