Only when I'm on holiday Linda :-P We did some running around with our volunteer work and then when I came home I polished the timber furniture as it was overdue to be done. I love the polishing but I have a dresser in the kitchen and it takes awhile to take everything of it and then wash and replace them. I did a bit of decluttering and found some bits and pieces to take to a charity shop.

I thought every day was a lazy day for you

After a long busy day and an evening of babysitting I was exhausted. I have only just got out of bed. OH is out walking the dog - well I think he is. I didn't hear him go out.

Lovely sunny morning here. I'm going to have a lazy day.

It has been lashing down all afternoon here. OH went out, I told him to take the car, but he insisted on walking, he was so wet he had to get changed when he got back

i made a cake and some biscuits this afternoon, we are going to a bonfire on Sunday,so I need to take a contribution to the food

It is a horrible rainy morning, but I am just going next door for coffee so that is fine.

Poppy the old dog who lived there died while we were away in London, but they have now taken in her brother

The neighbours mother originally had four dogs, two male and two female. One of the females died quite a while ago and then when the next door neighbour married she took Poppy with her leaving the mother with the two males.

The mother looks after the little boy who lives next door for three days a week while the neighbour is at work, so she is often there with all the dogs. Sometimes when I baby sit all the dogs are there.
One of the male dogs Hamish is just about blind now and seems to have gone senile, he is barking at and trying to attack his brother, so they have decided to split them up and Dougal has come to live next door.

I don't think the neighbours husband will be too pleased as he doesn't like the dogs and is aware that his house pongs. I can't see the old dog lasting much longer so maybe Dougal will go home again.

If he does, she will probably want to get a new dog and at least these old ones are docile

Hmm - outside school bullying is also a problem, but it may, hopefully, of taught the boys what can happen as a result of their bullying.

The parents need to sort this out, and it was right of one parent to apologise.

Drew is at a different school Tec. They have a strong policy against bullying at the twin's school and Joel isn't having a problem there. It is when he is riding around on his bike. It came to a head when the two boys ran after him and Joel being scared ran into a parked car and fell off his bike. He scraped his knee and came home crying. We were there at the time and it took awhile to comfort him. I think it scared the boys too.

Sue is Drew at a different school to Joel.? sometimes a bigger brother can look out for a younger one.

Joel is friendly with the little boy although he is younger - the two mums are friends. I hate bullying. Joel is such a nice boy and it's horrible to know he was being picked on.

The news story in Wales is awful. I shouldn't have made a joke of it...sorry :-(

Bullying can be a real problem for some children, and has to be nipped in the bud before it gets out of hand.

Poor Joel, it is awful when they are bullied, maybe he can befriend the younger boy

They get very hungry in Wales :-0 Who knows who...er...what they'll eat.

Poor Joel has been bullied lately by two older boys. My SIL had a word with the mother of one of the boys and they came to the house and apologised to Joel. Very nice and Joel is much happier......except they are now picking on another even younger boy on the street :-(
