You are in a beautiful part of the country. I haven't been to Somerset for many years, but fondly remember it.
I've been to Wells Cathedral, impressive, and I'm sure it has an interesting clock on one of the towers.

We are staying in a lovely country inn near Shepton Mallet in Somerset. It's warm but overcast - no rain. I hope it stays dry. We are hoping to go and have a look at Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury tomorrow.

Linda I got in a muddle about your excursions up and down the country - it is not easy to keep up with you :-)
Today was very wet here, although I understand that it was a beautiful day in many parts.
Now they forecast a heatwave, followed by thunderstorms and torrential rain on Saturday :-0
I shall therefore cancel my climb up Snowdon :-D shame really as I have been told to practice slopes.

The weather is still hot here ........... OH has moved down to the bed in the basement, and I have 2 fans going in the upstairs bedroom.


We are going away again tomorrow, until Monday, visiting our friend. We haven't seen her since Christmas :-(

I am not going anywhere today Tec, it is only Wednesday. Eve woke up at 6.30 so I brought her in with me until the alarm went off at seven aSquirmy four year old and grandma in a single bed is not exactly restful.

She has just gone off to preschool with mum and now I can hear Esme upstairs with daddy. She is hooked up to her morning milk, but that doesn't take long,so I will be on duty soon. It is going to be 27 degrees again today, far too hot for little babies and grandma's as well

Berona - Archie is screwed into my copper bottom underpants :-D :-D

I couldn't possibly divulge what I was doing getting dressed in a taxi ;-) what with you being a lady of a delicate disposition :-) :-D

Today Archie and I went to physio at the local hospital. They were very pleased with my progress, and had me trying to walk up a very steep incline, but it proved to be a bit too ambitious - I knew it was as soon as I saw it.- there are limits :-(
I go back again next week.

Sue you and Linda make me dizzy - one going North, one going South. Is it something in the Yorkshire water? :-D

Berona - I have made sure the house has been kept in sparkling condition as milady's Instructed. Wouldn't dare to fall down on the job.

We saw two hedgehogs playing in your garden, Linda :-)

Tomorrow we are going on a little trip down south - hope the weather stays nice and warm.

I have just missed you Berona. I took Esme to stay and play this morning. She loves watching all the children playing and there are lots of toys,so she is always happy to see new things.

As soon as that finished,we got the bus into town and went to the supermarket to get a few things mummy forgot to add to the food delivery yesterday. The major omission was jars of baby food :-(

We got the bus back and she didn't go to sleep which is good because she is having a sleep now. Eve will be home soon because she has to go to big school for a stay and play session this afternoon. It is only from 2-3pm, her daddy will take her, but once they come home,I will end up with both of them to look after - I never signed up for both of them :-(

Screwed on ....to what? The mind boggles. Tec you take good care of Archie, now. I'm wondering about your comment on getting dressed in a taxi. DO TELL !
Sue - hope you have all the silver polished and don't forget to inspect the front windows at night like the lady of the house does.
Linda - you seem to be doing a lot. Hope you are not overdoing things.
Diane, Amanda, Mersey, Huia - missed you again - but we'll catch up eventually. I still read everything to keep pace, even though I don't get up early enough to join in the conversation.
Still having good weather, although still getting forecasts for not-so-good, but it doesn't happen. Too cold for me and I use my aircon a lot but it is still good for mid-winter. 18c to-day and that's the lowest so far. July and August are our coldest months, so we can't complain. Enough snow falling down south to make the skiers happy and no rain to mar the outdoor activities/sports. Well, not so far, anyway.

Good morning one and all. I am having a quiet few minutes to myself. I had to wake Eve up this morning, but she was in a good mood so I soon had her ready for pre school, she even ate all of her pink porridge.

Her mum slept in, so it was a rush while they went out. She normally brings Esme down, but as she was in a hurry, she left her upstairs with daddy. I can here her crying,so am pleased that he had her not me.

I. feel guilty ,so I had better go and empty the dishwasher and tend to the washing machine instead of sitting with my feet up :-(
