Really Tec :-0 You must tell us more.

Goodnight again :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 14 Jul 2014 23:01

Well there you go...I thought Archie was screwed on :-D

Goodnight Linda <3

I must get off to sleep too - it's been a long day.

Goodnight Tec <3

Wouldn't be the first time I've got dressed in a taxi :-D

Goodnight Linda - sleep well,

I now have visions of Tec getting undressed in a taxi :-0

I am off to sleep now,so sleep well <3

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 14 Jul 2014 22:57

No Sue - that would not be easier :-D

It's done by getting my bottom on the seat sideways, then turning, then lifting Archie out of the road before some fool runs him over :-D

He isn't screwed on you know - the rest of me isn't wooden

:-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 14 Jul 2014 22:53

Fish fingers....oh goody :-|

Would it be easier to unscrew Archie and put him in the taxi first, flop into the car and then screw him back on? :-D

Tecwyn Report 14 Jul 2014 22:50

I was never "normal" even with two legs :-D

Practiced getting Archie into the passenger seat of my car today. I am going to hospital in a taxi tomorrow, and didn't want the hassle of the wheelchair - worked out quite well :-)

Yes, there are fish fingers in the freezer

I'm getting a little fed up with beans Linda - can we please have something else?

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 14 Jul 2014 22:44

He doesn't need a new kitchen to open a can of beans Sue :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 14 Jul 2014 22:41

What's "normal" :-D I'm sure the new kitchen will make things much easier. You'll be able to rustle up a feast for any guests you may be expecting :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 14 Jul 2014 22:40

Hello Linda :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 14 Jul 2014 22:39

This kitchen has a "rise and fall" sink unit, that can be adjusted for "normal" people.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 14 Jul 2014 22:39

Yes....they were all quite gay ;-)

The huge oak tree called the Major Oak is magnificent. Some of the oak trees are over 500 years old. They are very gnarled and in odd shapes.

I am just looking in before turning in. I wanted to wash my hair so it would be OK for tomorrow. I have been washing it in the pool showers, but it never seems to get all the what ever they put in the water theses days, out.

Sometimes I can manage it before Eve wakes up, but if I had left it for the morning, that would guarantee that she would be up with the larks.

Your new kitchen sounds good Tec..I remember watching a design programme where they did a kitchen for a young woman in a wheelchair, it was amazing what they came up with

How I envy you Sue - one of my greatest pleasures has been to stroll through an ancient woodland in summer or Autumn.
The old trees, often hundreds of years old, and as you say, the smell.

We have a huge forest near here that I've wanted to visit for years, but the Duchess never liked woodland. Too late now as I doubt I could manage it.
I remember once being deep in a forest and staying perfectly still, a herd of fallow deer came drifting silently through the trees - a magical moment.

I should imagine Sherwood Forest is fabulous.

Did you spot any of Robin's merry men? :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 14 Jul 2014 22:25

None taken :-D

On the way back to our lodgings :-D we went to Sherwood Forest. We didn't go to any of the exhibitions as we have been before but it rained last time and we couldn't walk through the forest itself. This time we took a leisurely stroll - the day was sunny and warm and the forest looked and smelt wonderful. The large and very old oak trees were incredible.

Just my sense of humour Sue - no offence intended :-D

Without you having started the thread Sue it is highly unlikely that I for one would have made any of the friends that I am fortunate to have made here.
Apart from Shaun's Welsh thread I rarely stray onto other threads, though frequently sitting on my hands, very tempted to air my views, especially on a contentious thread - but preferring the quiet life I resist poking a hornets nest :-D

Leave that to the brave :-D
