Sorry that the Joel's team lost :-( I thought the sign that was put up for people to see was a good idea but sad that some people treat a child's game so competatively.

Tec I don't normally watch it as I feel it is so politically affected these day's :-(

Aimee is well although still coughing. The antibiotics seem to be doing their job.

Joel's team lost but they are played a good game. Joel only skipped once :-D

Today is Mothers' Day so I will get a nice phone call from my son in Hobart and a nice lunch with the family here. Apparently the children have a surprise for me that Drew nearly let out of the bag :-D

Diane I thought our entry was better than in recent years, but nothing special.

What do you think about our entry, I thought it wasn't to bad, I agree that the staging is good, I liked the ice dancer but was puzzled at how it was done :-S

I am watching as well, the staging is very good. Eve was impressed by it, she was very cross when she had to go to bed,,

Esme wakes up three or four times during the night, she is on a very slow pump feed overnight, so her stomach usually needs venting, but she isn't too bad. She is still a horror for me, but good as gold when her mum is there.

My sleeping is all over the place :-( I sleep when my muscle pain is at it's lowest, when I do fall asleep it's as though I go unconcious and sleep for 10/12 hrs.

Linda after what you have told us about looking after Esme I would think that your daughter will feel going to work is like a holiday. I hope she soon's settle's down for you. Does she sleep well during the night so you can all get a good sleep?

Sue I hope Aimee is much better, how did Joel's matcg go, was he skipping down the pitch :-D

Hello Huia, you have my full sympathy, I may resort to asking Dr for sleeping tablets and see if he can give me some stronger pain killer's as the one's I have been taking for a long time don't seem to have the same affect they once had.

Tec it is nice to see you and your brother getting on better, pity it has took your recent situation to bring you closer but that is usually how it happen's ( didn't in my case ) but then my lot are not normal :-D

Very windy here today, nearly gale force, with showers. Temp 15 C , falling to 7 C tonight, so not cold, but disappointing for nearly mid May.

I am watching the Eurovision Song Contest, that goes on for hours and hours - and hours :-(
There are 26 countries competing, and Great Britain's performance is last at 26. We usually come almost last as the voting is very political, and nobody loves us in Europe :-0
The contest is so awful, that it's brilliant :-D and compulsive viewing.

I have been playing princesses and theme parks since 7am :-(

We had a nice time swimming and have been playing Eve's imaginary games all afternoon. She has a tremendous imagination. Her mum has been playing for an hour, but is fed up now, so we are going to watch Rapunzel for a bit if respite.

Then no doubt we will be playing again.

Hello Berona. I cant see myself getting to bed very early tonight. I had a late lunch today, since I had had a late breakfast due to sleeping in. About an hour after lunch (2.30ish) I was feeling very sleepy so lay down for a short nap on the settee, but forgot to set the kitchen timer. When I woke it was 5.00. I don't want to take any sleeping pill tonight if I can help it, so I will probably be playing on here or sorting out some of my 'junk' until the wee small hours.

Looks like nobody else is around at the moment. Our weather here has been very nice for Autumn with some high temps (mid 20s) until this last week. The overnight temps are dropping and daytime is 20/21 at best - but that is still quite nice with the sun shining. Very little rain (if any) so far, so we can't complain. Winter starts in three weeks' time.

Linda - you will need another holiday when you go home! Please take care and don't become 'run-down'. We don't want you getting summer flu. (I'm conscious of the flu because I had my jab yesterday). My dtr took me, so she got hers as well.

Hope Aimee is improved Sue. Also your OH's knee. and as for Tec - he had better be behaving himself and not doing 'wheelies' in that chair!

I won't scold you, Diane - I know that you feel better if you get up rather than lie in bed with an aching back. I only scolded you when you had to get up early to go to work. I hope you get enough sleep, though.
